Lots of businesses are shutting down because of the coronavirus, and a lot of them aren't paying their employees during this time. This is turning into an economic disaster just as much as it a health pandemic.

My sister is out of work until the restaurant she works at opens back up, and she's having a hard time finding another job as there's a ton of other people trying to do the same.

Thankfully our parents offered us their financial support if things get dicey for us, but I know there's a lot of people who aren't as lucky. This is just messed up.

Oh yeah, so I'm out of a job for 12 days now...

This COVID thing is just... wild dude. I feel like in a post apocalyptic movie and this is the first act...

Edit: if anyone else is dealing with this applying for Unemployment isn't a bad thing. The government is being very lenient with it apparently.

When my father loses his **** when people make those claims, you know that the people who believe so are clearly dumb as frick.

Because my father is the kind of guy who thinks memes are a method of spreading negative publicity for local products.
And I wish I was joking with that.

This Game Boy game Star Fox: Grounded is pretty interesting.

Don't know what possessed the creator to make it a JRPG and Falco the protagonist though.

Making blanket statements and adhering to stereotypes, whether conservative or liberal, young or old = bad

Working together to come up with solutions in harmony as best as possible, even with differences in opinion on certain things = good.

On a different note, I finally got around to playing Celeste. It's a very difficult game that is extremely forgiving of deaths, so I'm finding it to be kind of addicting. It can be kind of tiring to though, so I'm forcing myself to take breaks from it.

It's interesting in that between its climbing and aerial dash mechanics, its a game that's just as much about vertical platforming as it is horizontal. Since you only get one dash and limited climbing stamina before touching the ground again, it can make some sequences where there's no safe ground feel really tense.

I'm not always the biggest fan of pixel art but the game makes it work. The soundtrack is really nice to.

I'm definitely glad I tried this game out.

Just finished Yakuza Liwami, moving onto Kiwami 2 now, though right now I'm just playing the Majima side story.

Just realizing how jarring it's gonna be once I get to Yakuza 3.

One could make the argument that while it's intentions are good, liberalism tends to cause quiet a bit of unwanted unrest from people who feel like it's being forced onto them.

I'm on the same page with this.
No matter what though, we need to build bridges instead of tearing down bridges.
