I'm honestly really skeptical of the idea that life came from space, because the idea of life originating elsewhere, somehow traveling through the vacuum of space and surviving, then just so happening to land on a planet perfectly suited to it seems far more complicated then it just originating here to begin with. This goes doubly for viruses, since they're dependant on life by nature.

But I suppose we can't rule out that possibility entirely.

I agree that it's a very small possibility and I found the "primordial soup" theory a lot more likely. It's just something interesting to think about.

Believe me, I would love that. I'm an independent and a centrist. I believe there are things of merit on both sides of the political spectrum. But there's an "us vs. them" mentality that only gets worse with more toxic vitriol from both sides. Hell, both sides hate me.

Best thing you can do is keep a cool head and try and find some commonality or understanding ground with others. There will be plenty that ignore unfortunately, but also many that may actually hear out what you're saying and respect it.

Gotta be willing to search for people you share common ground with. Not everyone is far left or far right, even though you could name a few that land in those realms.
