Well sorry for questioning such a controversial thing but that's how humanity and governments are treating this like closing everything down.

I mean they never reacted this far with swine flu.

Meaning some places like BBC and Reuters is ok but not tabloids like what I mentioned above.

And the fact that this happened on a week I've been looking forward to for about three months is why I'm being a bit insensitive.

Again to the likes of @Bolderousness , Ramen Tengoku my side of the argument here, while I sort of agree with Spikester a good bit, most of my annoyance is really directed towards the panic buying when governments have said that they will have enough food, medicine etc to go around and I blame some of it towards certain media. Meaning some places like BBC and Reuters is ok but not tabloids like what I mentioned above.

Dude we all read about this hoarding ****. I don't think it deserves a high school-level "does humanity deserve to exist?" discussion.

Honestly, if toilet paper hoarding is what sets you off about humanity and not the daily "someone got murdered" story I read in the news every ****ing day, I don't know what to say. Humans can be idiots. That is nothing new. However, there is also good in humanity and that should be cherished.

My point was the hypocrisy and irrationally of humanity and was just saying if this is how were gonna react and how governments are too may as well just cull half of humanity while were at it, not to say we should and would because I would oppose to it. Its no wonder we'll probably doom ourselves much sooner if this is how we react to every pandemic regardless of its mortality rate.
