Yeah, I seriously have had some really bad anxiety attacks recently.

But rather than those happening due to thinking about me getting the virus, they tend to happen because I worry way too much about the well-being of other people and I get seriously scared when I consider the possibility of anyone here I enjoy talking with on the internet dying from the virus.


I always try to get over It by remembering that the people I tend to talk with are 20 years old or higher so they may be safe... But the fear sadly never leaves my mind.

I've been through the same type of thing over the last week, to the point that I've called into work a few things just to be safe. Now when I go back to work tomorrow I'll be in what is essentially one of the highest risk jobs there is right now.

No. But if this is how humanity and governments are gonna react they may as well if they want this to stop so bad.

Are you serious right now? This is a legitimate pandemic, and its better for this level of overreaction NOW than waiting until its far too late. Would you rather everything stays open and even more people become infected???? This isn't something that's going to go away easily, and we don't even have a proven vaccine at the moment.

For me I just had the shock of my college is closing for a few days meaning I can't attend a lecture nor get in touch with my student officer so I don't even know anymore.

Had to email one of my tutors saying I have to forfeit that unit because of all that is going on.
It's more how long is this going to last is what worries me. Some places in East Asia seem to be seeing the light at the end of the tunnel while others are just entering.
What about people and places I'm attached to as well. Are some of those local places going to survive the turmoil and what about the jobs of people who I frequently talk to and all.

Also there hasn't been no cases here yet but my city is already preparing. Almost everywhere including the theater is closed.

For the most part gonna stay home otherwise aside from taking my dogs outside, taking them for walks and to the dog park as most cases are travel related so we should be good.

Worst case scenario. We self isolate ourselves at home until it passes.

Depends on how long it passes. I hate doing but I'm gonna have to convince my parent to cancel the family trip this weekend to England to see relatives. I;ve conceded.

Tomorrow will hopefully be the final day of a sense of normality for a while. Library in the morning, Re;Zero in the afternoon and get some Burger King.

A part of me is in so much denial about all this. I cannot believe it. I always thought my generation's biggest challenge was going to be a Second Cold War or a major war in apart of the world but a pandemic? I can't get over it.

I do feel there has been work on a general Direct, seeing how we got an Animal Crossing one last month and soon today an Indie World.

Looks like we were due for a fighter reveal soon, but current situations are putting it on the back burner.

Could be wrong but I think both of you have this out of context. He didn’t say fighter, he said presentation.

Sakurai makes the presentations him self with a crew, and films multiple months in advance. That means the fighter is likely already done if he’s referring to the presentation he does and not the presentation of the character.

That means a full reveal next week if we get the direct, but a potentially delayed release date

If you want to cull humanity then you're a genuinely awful person, there's people overreacting by hording all resources for themselves and there's saying we should murder a ****ton if people just because some overgrown fetus can't handle having to take things seriously for once in his life

I want to point out, to everyone freaking out about the Smash fighter presentation, that PushDustin said the translation actually implies that Sakurai was talking about an in-house presentation (potentially to a publisher) and not one that would go out to the public, so this might not even be about the next character at all.

Everyone calm down and wait to see if a general Direct happens and if it has a reveal.

I've ordered One Piece Stampede through Amazon, and it should be here by this weekend. I was going to buy it locally, but my meeting for today (along with my work shifts the first week after March Break) was cancelled, and I don't want to drive half an hour for the small chance that it might be available.

For Persona 4, I just got Kanji on my team. I think I'm doing well with the Social rankings - all 2s and 3s so far. I need to improve my eloquence to advance the social links for Dojima and Nanako, but I think that's going well.

Also, indie Direct in less than half an hour! Not sure what I want; I'm hoping that we'll get a Switch announcement for Ori and the Will of the Wisps, though that seems too soon. (I think the developers said that they made Ori and the Blind Forest on the Switch using the engine for Ori 2, so that sounds promising) Other than that, I don't know what I want or what to expect; I'll be interested to see what will be there, though. (and this reminds me that I should play more of Bloodroots)
