I think the big ones for me were Blue Fire, the Last Campfire, and Bounty Battle. (I saw that game on Fig, and I know that it has a lot of indie characters in it, like Juan from Guacamelee or a character from Awesomenauts) Bounty Battle depends on the gameplay, but the other two definitely seemed like something that I'd be interested in.

Not only was this year gonna be when I finally got a social life, but now that I’m stuck inside I can’t even rely on smash to get me through.

I’m seriously considering getting a degree in medical sciences just so I can kick it’s ass.

I infact could see where you are coming from, since I did find myself on a similar scenario on this thread last year.

My beginnings here were quite a trainwreck, and many people took a lot of focus on the things I did bad, to the point when I announced a temporal break from the server during February of last year some people started ranting about how It was a coward move or some stuff like that.

So yeah, I do agree with the "don't tell anyone they'll never learn" part.
For the next time stuff like this happens I will make sure to not say that kind of stuff.

As someone with...experience in this department, yeah that's usually the reason why I leave for short periods of time, then come back after it's calmed down.

I overreacted about leaving.

Listen guys everything what's happening right now its stressful times. Its putting an toll on all of us. I don't expect you guys to believe me in trying at this point because you're right I keep doing it but everything I ever said including the horrid things I never meant as it was all irrational thinking and peer pressure getting the better of me.

That said I'm gonna try again. I also can't forgive Boulderness for assuming I'd put movies over my own family (Especially my dogs) jumping to such an absurd conclusion. I maybe passionate about movies but come the **** on man that actually broke my spirit a bit for you to say that.

That said this will be my final say on this. Can't say I promise I'll stop talking about coronavirus but I'm really gonna try this time.

Edit: Nevermind about what I said about you Boulderness. If there's one thing we should leave its never live in the past and move forward. I learned that from Nightwolf in MK9.

Well, looks like my country is set to temporarily close a number of stores which includes the cinema which is a fair decision. Whilst I am aware that there are several films that are due to be relreased whether this is Mulan, James Bond, Fast & Furious 9 or films that are currently in production such as Shang Chi are either on hold or delayed, I highly understand this as health and safety is the most important priority as of now and I do hope that the coronavirus will ease eventually. Right now, I care about my own, my sister's and my parent's health and safety more than anything else at the moment as this is a much more important priority than anything else.

All I'm going to say is that even though I am prepared for the worst of what's going to happen within the coming weeks and months, we should do our part to prevent the coronavirus from spreading even further like continuously washing our hands and not use the conronavirus as an excuse or reason to spread hatred unlike this guy's Youtube channel who constantly used the term "coronavirus" on the title of almost every one of his videos as a way to present misinformation on upcoming films by saying he wants to cancel the film etc.

In one video, he said that "Asians are walking around with the coronavirus" and he considers "Asians are poisonous to the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe)" which as an Asian myself, I find it rather hurtful and offended that he would even say that "Asians are poisonous" which comes off as being racist and xenophobic.

By the way, what did you think of the Sonic movie? I really enjoyed it, more than Detective Pikachu actually. I think Sonic's design and personality are great, and Jim Carrey was great as Robotnik.

And on Sonic himself again, I actually think his movie design is better than modern Sonic. He's much cuter but still retains his coolness, and his body proportions just look better with his hands and feet being less giant compared to his arms and legs.

I actually hope they go for a design more similar to this in games going forward, and this is coming from a lifelong Sonic fan. I'm just kinda over modern Sonic.

This year, having struggled with coursework and mental health, I finally found the right places and mentality to get things done, like last week finally right.

This **** happens.

Good thing is that shopping centres and libraries haven't closed (I'd give it a week) meaning tomorrow could be the final day of normalcy for me.

Haven't got the chance to see it, and with the corona virus, I doubt I see it soon.

But hey, from all that I saw about it, I think I will enjoy it, especially Jim Carrey as Eggman, he seem perfect for the role.

For the Sonic redesign, I think it work great for live-action, but I don't think it look great in-game. Sonic blue arms work fine in the movie due to his fuziness, but ni other contexts, there is just too much blue all around, color balance is important for a character with a design that is as simple as Sonic, or any good design in general. That, and the two eyes would look just weird with a more cartoony Sonic, you would need to give every other Sonic character that share the "cyclops eyes" design the same look for Sonic to not look weird while standing next to them, which would be more effort on Sega side.

Not to say I don't like it, I dig it alot, but I hope it stay in the movies.

As for his blue arms, yeah I do agree that the color balance with tan arms works better for the games, especially the classics where his arms would be really hard to see if they were blue, since they'd blend in with the rest of his body.

However, I do like the look of blue arms in general because it just makes more sense. Why do his arms look hairless normally? Especially compared to the other characters which generally have arms that match the rest of there fur. I think Sonic Boom pulled off blue arms on a modern Sonic design really well tbh. But on the whole, the color of his arms doesn't really matter to me either way, I think he looks good with either color.

His separate eyes I think add to his cuteness in the movie, and would be interesting to see in the games even though I doubt they'll do it. The only other characters with uni-eyes are the other hedgehogs though, so if they did want to make the change there'd only be a handful of others to change as well.

A bigger part of his cuteness however, is his pupils. There much bigger in the movie, and I think that is key to making a cuter Sonic. That, and his eyes take less space on his head than in the games, which I also like.

In conclusion, I think my ideal Sonic should take elements of the movie design, but also keep elements of his game design. Let's say he keeps his tan arms and connected eyes, but gets slightly smaller eyes and bigger pupils, as well as being shorter in height. I'd love that.
