Yes, people keep misinterpreting that line of the leak.

It’s pretty obvious they messed up their grammar, likely because English probably isn’t their first language but that’s just a guess, could be auto correct maybe.

Regardless it’s pretty clear the implications are that it looks fire fighting but is actually pure fire.

If it's pure Fire then alright, that works too. Fighting would be okay as well, I guess I'm just like others and want more of a variety. though I guess the other two starter types don't have much more of a variety, either, since they were pure grass/water a few times...

Me I wouldn't care less for Hero but otherwise happy for Dragon Quests supporters.

On the other hand though. I'm greatly enjoying the fact after nearly 20 years of demand and long overdue they are that everyone's favorite bear and bird have finally made the spot!

DBFZ recently replaced ALL of Goku Black's English lines to change his voice from British to gruff. Not to mention games like that always patch in new lines for character interactions like pre-fight and post-fight dialogue alongside tag-in lines

I wouldn't know about that. I've played the game a few days ago, and Black only ever goes gruff against GT Goku. He's still got the same old British villain in his vocal chords.

I see you guys say the new Huey design from The Boondocks. Dude looks really good, no lie.

If the Boondocks is coming back, I imagine that they're gonna have a really hard time working with... that word in today's pop culture society. It was spouted off a lot in the show (and also lead to the creation of one of my favorite TF2 freaks), but it's still a little word with a big impact. Let's see where they take it.

I couldn't care less about Banjo but I'm glad we can finally move on from that part of speculation.

Hero looks really interesting moveset-wise and it seems they'll bring some high quality music, so that was nice.

Overall, less exciting reveals compared to Joker for me, but a lot of fans were satisfied by both reveals, so that means a more chill fandom for a while.

I said fair, not easy, Vergil leaves himself open a lot and when he's open, you can at least get up to B rank with combos iirc. Out of curiousity, which Style did you use? DMC3 didn't perfect Styles as you could only have one, but in my experience, I used Trickster which at that point let me dash 3 times in a row, air dash and teleport

So Toy Story 4 is getting amazing reviews. Last I checked it was at 100% Fresh just like the first two.

Consensus is that they turned the perfect trilogy into a perfect quadrilogy.

I don't usually post too much in here, but I drop by every now and then to see what conversations are going on. Gotta say, Pokemon Sword and Shield should be ****ing amazing in concept, but it's clearly the result of rushing to get the mainline games out in time for the holidays. Parts of it don't look great, it sounds like they've dropped a lot of the old mechanics that they more recently introduced, and the National Dex thing has got to be one of the most embarrassing things for Pokemon as a series. I understand there starts to be limits for how much stuff can be introduced in one development cycle for a game, but they're absolutely going to milk Pokemon for the next 5-7 years on the Switch. I don't see why they just don't put in the effort now to get them all working so they can appear across all Switch titles... (actually, I do, they want to be able to sell us specific Pokemon back to us in the form of playable nostalgia... why does GameFreak seem to be the absolute scummiest ones of the Nintendo world?).

There's certainly some things that can be touched up before the holidays, but my worst fears came true with this game when I realized what was going on. Game Freak just hasn't had enough time to build the proper console Pokemon experience on Switch. They just finished up Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee last year, have started a brand new weird as hell looking IP in Town, and have moved out of their comfort zone to the full HD era where things take longer to develop and require more polish to actually look decent.

Again, it's such a shame, because a fully 3D environment with Pokemon running and more expressive elements to characters and better gyms sounds like such a formula for absolute success in Pokemon... They just seem to need more time to make that great product.

I'm glad Aaron is back on the Boondocks. But I am worried that the tone of the show isn't gonna match up to what it was. The new Artstyle is fine, a bit closer to Season 1's but I'd be lying if I didn't adore Seasons 2 and 3's style.

I wouldn't worry about the voice actor thing, since most of the voice actors are black. And even the ones that aren't, there's a point to it, like Robin Williams voicing the teacher that calls Riley *****, because Riley says ***** a lot, who was based on a real teacher and situation. Which I think adds to the humor, but some might disagree so who knows.

Funny thing is, Rivals who are total bros to the main character CAN WORK REALLY ****ING WELL. It's just that most of the ones in Pokemon are bland and aren't cool on their own as characters. And it doesn't help that the main character is meant to be an extention of the player rather than someone with established traits and goals.

Look at Ryu and Ken or Mega Man X and Zero. MKX/MK11 gave Scorpion and Sub-Zero a similar dynamic to Ryu and Ken, it worked out really well. Sub-Zero's chapter in MK11 was a highlight because of it.

My favorite joke about Gen 8 was some dude saying "Imagine being the sperm that won only to be named Hop."

As I've seen pointed out several times, Gamefreak can't afford to delay games like Nintendo can because they have tie in anime, movies, trading cards and merchandise that all depends on it making it scheduled release. Delaying Sword / Shield would throw that all off.

This is why I'm pushing for patches. It's probably too late for a delay.
I also think the visuals are fine y'all are just mean.

I don't think any of the spinoffs let you play as them, Dragon Quest Monsters and Builders have different heroes, and none of the Fortune Street games have the heroes playable (e.g. the DQ8 reps are usually Jessica and Angelo, with Yangus and Trode as well in some of the games).

I puts the general Japanese reactions into perspective if that's the case.

If Sword and Shield can't be delayed then the expanded/remake game coming next can. With Pokemon Go still being a thing and three new mobile games coming it's not like they'll be hurting for cash.

Second, lmao Pokemon's always had this level of sloppyness. How many other high profile games are able to get away with zero facial expressions for the protag? They didn't patch facial expressions like how they didn't patch Megastones or UBs in other games like how they aren't going to patch in the older pokemon
