I can empathise. I tend to be very negative about things I enjoy because I'm a logical person and want the negativity out of my system.Ah yes. I'm Goku.
I've been on break with the series ever since I beat my first route of Three Houses back in July. I'm currently binging Dragon Quest and Street Fighter as we speak.
Maybe it's because I need to eat right now, but I'm not sure what the point of this is. I'm a Fire Emblem fan because I overall enjoy the series. However, I see its faults--especially in story--and the main lords are typically one of them. I was building off of Idon's rip on Roy by establishing at least half of the lords are like Roy in character and how monotonous it becomes. By all means, I'm not sick of the series since I plan on going back to Awakening lunatic in the summer even though I have historically criticized its narrative extensively.
Thanks! I'll try watching characters that I'm not familiar with (like the Knight from Hollow Knight, Shantae, or Hat Kid - I have a game for all of them, but I haven't gotten around to playing those yet) so I can see why people want them for Smash. (and hopefully it will motivate me to play those games)
Damn it. You're right. That guy has blue hair and a sword, you're obviously Marth.
Either a god locked in an eternal power struggle with other gods, or an escapee with a chance to become a god, but is fighting an overzealous cult of idiots along the way.You become trapped in the body of the last character you took control of in a video game. What is your new life?
That ain't a Lord thoSpeaking of FE lords, guess who finally got an icon?
Still no F!Byleth though, probably will be a while until we get her.

Neither sound fun.
Pretty much. We're on a Smash Bros discussion forum. I'm pretty sure everybody has criticized the series at least once.I can empathise. I tend to be very negative about things I enjoy because I'm a logical person and want the negativity out of my system.
Wrecking Ball from Overwatch. You become trapped in the body of the last character you took control of in a video game. What is your new life?
Finally, it's been 3000 years.Speaking of FE lords, guess who finally got an icon?
That's silly, everyone knows every Fire Emblem character in Smash is a Lord. That ain't a Lord tho
I don't know how to write tonight it seem, but to get the points: I'm not saying you aren't a fan because you point problems with the series you love. In fact, that's great, I just came to the impression while writting my previous post you perhaps weren't enjoying much FE due to the problems I pointed out, and so I suggested - if you didn't do it already, which you did - to take a break from it to have more fun with itonce you came back. Because to me, fun is what matter most in a game, and if it's not funAh yes. I'm Goku.

TBF, FE fans typically label "characters who game over if dead" as a lord. It's why some people would call Robin or Ike a lord despite not being born into nobility. Inversely, it's why some people wont refer to Lucina as a lord (because there's no gameover if she gets KO'd).That's silly, everyone knows every Fire Emblem character in Smash is a Lord.
Half of them not being Lords doesn't change that.
Ah I see your intent. Glad we cleared that up.I don't know how to write tonight it seem, but to get the points: I'm not saying you aren't a fan because you point problems with the series you love. That, and I tried to channel my inner Jones you could say, but contrary to him, long post are really not for me lol.

Actually... *puts on nerd glasses*That's silly, everyone knows every Fire Emblem character in Smash is a Lord.
Half of them not being Lords doesn't change that.
When I was in middle school and early high school I would score dead Centre on those. Then 2016 happened and I was flung very far to the left.Evening People.
You ever get bored and be like, yep I'll do a Political Test or something?
Not quite the same, but sometimes I do those character personality tests out of sheer boredom when I stumble upon those.Evening People.
You ever get bored and be like, yep I'll do a Political Test or something?
It's like if someone tried to merge it with a political satire cartoon with the leaders all greatly exaggerated and what. Looks messed up.Ever wanted to see what a hypothetical live-action Phineas and Ferb reboot would like?
Yyyyeah, morbid.
Don't want to dive into politics but that is me now really. When I was in middle school and early high school I would score dead Centre on those. Then 2016 happened and I was flung very far to the left.
Celebi, Jirachi, Manaphy and Phione, Genesect, Diance and Marshadow.Which ones? I might have something left.
As cursed as it is, you don't have to imagine it.Ever wanted to see what a hypothetical live-action Phineas and Ferb reboot would like?
Candace actually looks really good in that artstyle.Ever wanted to see what a hypothetical live-action Phineas and Ferb reboot would like?
Yyyyeah, morbid.
Of course, we can't!Can't go one day without someone posting cursed ****.
I'm okay, got a sick sore throat and can't stay home from school because of this.Morning all how's everything?
Me? Its Sunday so relaxing expect me to probably be here almost all day. On another hand this week will be exciting. Gonna go see My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising on Wednesday and the possibility of an General Nintendo Direct this week. Even if no FP6 still things to hopefully look forward to such as rumors of Paper Mario 3 (Going back to its original gamegplay).
And then you have Celica who just made me "women, am I right guys?" When she went off on her adventure. The thing about him is that he is weak for most of his game and then gets an OP magical sword and wrecks everything. Which means that in his game he is a liability but in Smash where he just always has his sword, he's just cool and strong.
I can't speak for certain because I haven't played most off those, but lords generally are meant to be pretty standard good people that get caught in bad situations. The games like to focus more on politics and bad guys. Eliwood for example has to deal with a couple of counties vying for dominance, a group of elite assassins that are connected to these creepy probably-human things made by this dark sorceror who is probably pupeting those said counties. And that's with not going too spoilery.
Imo the lords actually add a nice certainty to the games. ****ed up **** will happen but the good guys will keep trudging on because they are good people with morals and determination. I've been playing Three Houses and that aspect has been missing for me.I picked Edelgard due to her seeming honestly but now I feel like none of the house leaders are completely trustworthy.
I think it's kinda dumb to call attention to the way they speak. They are nobles in a medieval world, of course they have a vocabulary to match.
Also I recognized the Eliwood quote so nice I guess?
Literally the character in describing. You become trapped in the body of the last character you took control of in a video game. What is your new life?
Well, from the top of my head I know I can breed Phione and I have a spare Diancie, I'd have to check for the rest though. I also know I have Celebi in Crystal, which can be cloned thanks to Gen 2 being Gen 2. Not sure if you care about that part.Celebi, Jirachi, Manaphy and Phione, Genesect, Diance and Marshadow.
Is there anything you're looking for?
