Ledian could really use something, it's been sitting at nothing but a 390 BST for 7 generations now. And if Ledian gets something, it would make sense for Ariados to also get something.

Bruh, I actually bothered to play an online tourney for the first time.

Get to final match, go to sudden death. Because of the spawn positions, my opponent was completely obscured by the GO! at the start and managed to win because I had no ****ing clue where they were or what they were doing.

Not hated by FE fans. He's a pain in the ass in his own games but he, as a character, is likeable enough. Not his fault that Intelligent Systems botched him in Binding Blade. He's very useful in that game sometimes. Other times? Whoo boy.

For Pokemon Home, I just payed for one month of premium just transfer my living national dex over from bank. Yeah I know I can't use over half of them in any games right now but honestly most of my collection just spends 99% of its time sitting in boxes anyway.

'Tis a shame I'm missing a bunch of the mythicals, or else I'd probably have that special Magearna.

If my earlier post didn't make it obvious enough, Ledian is one of my favorite Pokemon and I dislike how little attention it gets. After 7 decades of disrespect...

Roy is about as milquetoast a protagonist as you could ever imagine. Just about no time goes into his personality, his beliefs, his struggles, whatever. He is just a walking piece of cardboard.

What little development he is given is locked behind character dialogue that is limited to 5 conversations per PLAYTHROUGH, start to end. And when you do read about it, it's about as standard a game protagonist as you can ever imagine, "I wanna do the right thing," "I get sad when people die," "I hope I'm a good leader." It really does feel like he's Marth with less charisma at times.

Doesn't help he's a deadweight liability as a combat unit either.

Ledian could really use something, it's been sitting at nothing but a 390 BST for 7 generations now. And if Ledian gets something, it would make sense for Ariados to also get something.

If the way Butterfree and Beedrill were treated is any indication, don't count on GF to treat a duo equally, as nic as it would be for those two Johto bugs to get something.

The whole Marth clone thing isn't a bad comparison when a lot of FE protagonists basically just copies Marth's personality.

Not kidding. Alm, Seliph, Eliwood, Eirika, and Micaiah all have similar personalities and traits. It's so tiresome a cliche to where they're the worst part of the story most of the time. It doesn't help that they all speak the same way in noble politeness. It's so alien and inhuman.

Here's a fun game. Take generic quotes from all the characters I listed above and have a random fan guess who said what. I bet they wouldn't get it first try.

2. "Under your rule, many people have suffered and died. Now you must face the consequences."

Isn't FE characters in general are based off archetypes based off previous characters?

Like you have the Lord, the one you described just here that started with Marth, then you have the Camus, who is like a anti-vilain that are polite to their enemy & allies and is quit powerful. Then you have the Casanova Wannabe , who as it's name imply, flirt alot with other characters but are still good guys after all, and so forth.

I'm not expert of Lord characters to tell which are the better one, but I do know that Dimitri does follow it....and act as a deconstruction of said trope, which is why, among many other reasons, me & other folks love him, but I think one or two Lord characters who play it straight must be good on their own, nah?
