Her former owner wasn't physically aggressive, but her former owner was scatter-brained and in-turn, neglectful.

I just saw some super sweet Corrin art that I wanna use as my avatar, but Byleth's still fresh from the Smash oven

My only guess as to why is because the Mii would be super close in height and stature to the actual AT, making readability squicky at a glance.


I'm dying for Strike the Earth to be in Smash tho.

I’m sorry! I wish I could say I knew what it was like, but I was only ever misgendered by the manager of a chik fil a who was very clearly doing it on purpose.

Nah. My problem is that I repeatedly get confused for someone way older. Once over the phone someone was asking for my mom and said “you must be her sister” and another time I was able to impersonate my mom to a customer service guy, to the point where I called myself “my daughter” in an anecdote and he was none the wiser.

Apparently I just exude that middle-aged mom energy.

Hey, they already had a Dark Samus palette swap for Smash 4 Samus, so they probably don't care.

Failboat likes Byleth. He's pretty much the only content creator I watch that actually likes playing as them, lol.

How's the thread feelin' after Day 1? To me, they're the best DLC character (as in the most fun gameplay and content they brought, not talking about viability).

To me, she’s very boring. She hits hard for sure, but she’s so slow that it becomes un fun to use her hard hitting attacks.

And I’m sorry but the stage is ugly with a muted color pallet and nothing about Byleth or their stage really exudes any unique personality or identity. Like, I can’t tell Garreg Mach is a school or that Byleth is a professor by sight or sound, I only know because i was told.

And while I’m at it I just don’t like Byleth’s design. The damn coat just irritates me, either put it on or take it off!

I’m sorry but Byleth just isn’t clicking with me. I gave her the old college try, but it just didn’t work out.

Highlight of the pass for me, and probably my favorite Ultimate newcomer, period

They're just so much fun to use, viability be darned

the stage and music are alright, but byleth themselves more than make it worth it imho

I think the reason I love the stage is because I just love Garreg Mach Monastery as a location so much. Seeing all the cameos in the background just makes me so happy!

Plus, while I love Joker's stage, it...Honestly hurts my eyes after a while, lol. Banjo and Byleth got the most fun stages IMO (Banjo's needs hazards off to be good, though).

Unrelated but I'm still pretty convinced we're gonna see something next Direct tbh.


Could be a Joker-esque reveal, but we haven't gone a Direct in 2 years now without 'something' for Smash, even Joker's infamous ass-shot.

all we're gonna be getting is a mega zoom in of fighter 6's render

it'll literally just be one single solid colored pixel taking up the entire screen

I'm legit obsessed with Three Houses atm so I'm pretty thrilled with everything that we got. Byleth is extremely fun to play with the axe and lance moves being especially satisfying to land, Garreg Mach looks amazing and is easily the best stage in the game because my boys Claude and Dimitri get to chill in the background, and being able to play Smash while jamming to Between Heaven and Earth and Apex of the World is worth the price of admission alone.

Still can't get over how ****ing sick the house leader alts look, too.
