Eh, I have them all turned off at this point(unless you tag or quote me)
We need like, a mix of Adventure and Heroes. Like, you have maybe 6 characters with unique gameplay styles and then you can unlock other characters who play identically with small unique quirks to do other missions in the stage. But you’re only required to beat it with the main 6 to unlock final story. Like, you beat Sonic’s stage and then you can play it again with Shadow who has chaos powers, and then silver who has his telekinesis, then Amy etc. You play Tails’s stage as him and then Charmy, Cream, and Ray. Knuckles is followed by Rouge, Mighty, and Espio. Vector the Crocodile, Big the Cat, and Bark the Polar Bear, are together. Omega shares a style with Eggman and Fang the Sniper, so on and so forth. They’re all basically the same but have a few of their own gimmicks thrown in.
If only SEGA had these kinds of people on board back then.
But... Senoue WAS on board back then. He also blursed us with Duck Desert Zone Act 2
If that's really the case, things might be looking up for Number 5. Maybe. We still don't know for sure yet.

I still say Lara Croft a bit of a sleeper choice. Another 90's gaming icon, who still has games coming out now. Hell, more Smash only dudes will probably know her more than Terry Bogard at least(although the fact anyone would call them "Literal Who's", proves they don't like cool ****). I think because her movepool isn't visually super over the top is why people don't bring her up more. Most characters we mention do have powers like, Hayabusa, Crash, Dante, KOS-MOS ect.
Which literally means nothing.
Reminder that the Wii version would’ve gotten a compressed MIDI version of it, since Wiiware‘s harsh file size limits were a thing.
Suda51 actually owns the ip rights to Travis. Grant has no continuing professional involvement with the Banjo franchise anymore and wouldn’t even know until he was asked to compose the song, which was very late notice comparatively (he was approached back in February). And I don’t remember SNK ever denying being in Smash. I follow Grant on twitter, and most of his active banjo deconfimations (or confirming that he didn’t know either or) happened pre-launch. As in, far before he was ever asked to compose. Grant Kirkhope is not Suda51.

They co-own it. Like how Nintendo co-owns FE with IS.
I believe not. It was speculated but leading up to it I believe Nintendo made no such suggestion.
In 80 percent positive that kirkhope had continued to deny it after being contracted.

So why ditch them? Why ditch a rule we’ve been working with for months NOW of all times before it’s even been disproved by anything official. It feels like people are just trying to make the characters they want feel more likely.
