I went with Marvel vs Capcom 4 because I don't have any meaningful attachment to SNK or Tatsunoko, and Smash scratches my itch for Nintendo characters in a fighting game.

I was planning on bringing Gordon Freeman up out of the blue before this. I was even gonna play off my notoriety on this site to pull a Colbert Report style bait-and-switch. "Today I wanna bring up a beloved video game character many of us take for granted. I'm of course talking about Yoshi Gordon Freeman!"

And then these leaks came up, not to mention the newly announced Half-Life game and I was "are you ****ing me?!!!" That series has been out of the news for 70 million years, but it just had to blow up TODAY?!!!

Frozen's plot isn't great, but I think it would have been much more forgivable if they had foreshadowed the villain just a little better. His big twist reveal was super jarring the way they handled it - it made his character seem really inconsistent.

I was invited to go watch Frozen 2 with my sister on Monday, and while I don't have huge expectations for it it still doesn't seem that bad. What does seem bad, however, is all the singing I'll have to put up with from my sister for the next month or two.

And that's the thing, the song in question makes Elsa seem like the villain anyways. "The cold never bothered me anyways," line in particular is explicitly tone-deaf in context of the story...

So the movie was originally based off the Hans Christian Anderson story “The Snow Queen” and Elsa was intended to be the main villain, but then Let It Go happened and they basically used it as an excuse to make Elsa a good guy.

There’s probably more, but that the short version of it.

Square flexed really hard with it too. If nothing else KH3 did excellent at looking like (or better than) the films they used.

As a life-long fan of Star Wars fan, it is easily one of the best pieces of media in the franchise and so far the best exclusive Disney+ has, easily.

One personal issue I have with the first Frozen is how people make it seem like it's Elsa's story.

It's not.

Anna is the one who risks her life to save the kingdom.
Anna is the one who practically every side character revolves around.
Anna is the one who nearly dies saving her sister, the person who unintentionally almost killed her twice and intentionally almost killed her once.

Despite this, Elsa is the posterchild who gets the marketing because she has magical ice powers and a hit song.

as a Disney fan myself, I think the best way to describe Frozen is a pretty good flick.

Not a masterpiece by any means, and I personally much prefer the likes of Tangled, Wreck-It Ralph, and Zootopia in terms of Disney Animation's recent films, but I can kinda see how it blew up like it did. "Let it Go" in particular is a top notch song, and the animation's pretty and eye catching.

I feel like people cling too much on the belief that popularity automatically equals quality and overload their exceptions when experiencing said popular thing, Especially in this day and age. I betcha if the original lion king or star wars released today, y'all would've labled them as super overrated and terrible movies
