KOFXIV is hard AF in terms of execution god damn.

Which characters are you playing as? I find Ryo's team to be pretty easy to use in most King of Fighters games, but then again, I'm already familiar with Ryu/Ken/Sagat/Akuma in Street Fighter, so I'm used to a lot of their motions.

It just seems like after all of the "Yoshi's series is less distinct than DK or Wario's" it seems like everyone wants to put their characters over his in Kart. They're also the same people who aren't convinced of Kamek's place...

I don’t even think it’d be feasible to begin with. I mean, good luck on trying to convince all the third party companies to lend their characters to a kart racer, best I see is , hell I don’t think Nintendo could convince Intelligent Systems or Game Freak to join in. It’ll probably be a lot more limited than you think.

In all fairness, it’s not like the Yoshi series as a TON of reasonable selections to chose from that isn’t already present in the Mario series but I don’t mind incorporating any original Yoshi content I can. What do you imagine a track based of the Yoshi series would be like?

You could do Cycles based upon horses and pegasi. The regular vehicle could be shaped like a chariot as is. It's an odd vehicle, but many are. It doesn't have to be that accurate.

I mean, how did they handle karts for Link? Similar circumstances.

If they did do a hypothetical Smash Kart, it would be great to incorporate a system like CRTNF's grand prixs, with regular free post-game content unlocked by filling a meter. Great way to keep it evergreen and allow for support across the rest of the Switch's life, however long that is.

Really, they could use everyone from Smash, they have the models all made and ready and in a uniform art style. Take a few staples from Mario Kart as well, then expand beyond that with the Grand Prix system after launch. I'd be down with that.

Here's my idea for a new track:
Egg Cup, Final Track-Crumbleden (9 section lap like Mount Wario.)
Takes place in the Ruined Kingdom as you race on collapsing bridges, stone towers, and a massive castle, but watch out for the Lord of Lightning as said dragon destroys sections of the track to stop you getting to the finish line.
And that's my idea for a new track to put in your game.
For a retro one to come back, my choice would be Wario Collosseum.
And yes, there's was a Egg Cup in Mario Kart 8 as DLC.
