My only concern ever since they revealed it is that this will be the only area in the game to catch wild Pokemon. That is, the "Wild Area" is the only place they put that much time and effort into, and the rest of the game will be rather sparse in terms environments where you can catch Pokemon. Even if there were one or two more big areas like this, I still feel like it'd be slim compared to previous Pokemon games where the environments for catching Pokemon are significantly smaller, but far more diverse.

Cuphead - Inkwell Isle (maybe a traveling stage, or it has a lot of land in the background like the BotW stage), or the Devil’s casino.
Steve - New World (I’d love it if it was called that since it’s the default name for a world in Minecraft, plus it sounds nice; it’d either have a random location or be a traveling or transforming stage, including every biome, underground, and all three dimensions).
Waluigi - Maybe a tennis court, or Waluigi Pinball.
Basically we know from the leaks that Grookey becomes a giant drum-beating gorilla. No official name yet but Baboom comes from a 4chan Smash leak that was as awesome as it was fake. That is to say, very fake. But the name stuck.

Raboot is a pun on rabbit, and totally is supposed to reference boots as the footwear for football and emphasizing kicks, but I legit thought it sounded robotic at first.
There was a leak back in May before the first direct with TONS of details, many of which were confirmed in the direct, and even more that have been confirmed since.
