Honestly, while I did have a WIi in my childhood(and I do still have it, it's just junk now) I really wouldn't consider those two consoles(at least in my experience) to be really memorial to my life so far.
If anything, the Switch has been the first console which has become part of my life.
And even then, our 2 Xbox Ones are pretty much glorified youtube players anyway(with the exception of Kingdom Hearts 3 lul) so it's not like I have a Nintendo bias(although if I'm being honest, my Dad realllly does.)

I got into gaming incredibly late. My first game (That wasn’t an edutainment game.) was Animal Crossing New Leaf. I got it about one or two years after other kids started getting real gaming consoles, I’m pretty sure.

I don’t get how that works. Assuming your in the age range of 5-8 when you get your first console, people who had that experience with the Wii U are only 12-15. Your still growing up. It was not the only console of your childhood. For that to be the case, you would need to have been 14 when you played video games for the first time for you to be 21 now and saying that the Wii U was your childhood console.

Are you talking about the Wii, since it's code name was "Revolution"? Or is that just a name for something else entirely, because last time I checked, the Wii didn't release after this "Switch Advance" thingy? What even is a "Switch Advance" anyway? ;p
