Lucky you then. She was hinted all the way back in like 2016 when I first started the show but not even formally mentioned until 2018. I thought the way they redeemed her was ok, I just wish she got more time as a villain ig.
I’m convinced one of steven’s powers is to like, subconsciously aborb the evil from people.

Dark Steven doppelgänger forms in season 6 I guess.

So, I've found two potential Halloween avatars, just gonna have to decide between them. Getting closer to the spooks now.

Didn't say I wanted more, but that doesn't mean I don't like it, now that you have showed it.
I know I'm really late on replying to you, but I went to bed a little bit after you posted it.
So, um, look at this lmao.
Basically that dragon's gimmick game-wise is literally changing forms via using a theoretical infinite amount of swords to make various weapons, ranging from spears to ****ing gatling guns(yes that's a thing)

We know there are 18 gyms in Sw/Sh. My question is, what’ll the level progression be like?

In most games you’re around level 40-50 by the eighth gym. But if there are the more gyms after this then are you gonna be level 100 by the end?

It’ll be interesting to figure out.

You’re gonna be Level 2 by Endgame because that’s as high as it goes. Gotta make it super easy for the kiddins!

Aren't the gyms different based on the versions? I think that's what 18 gyms means. 9 per.

Stop reminding me about my military service... :drsad:

I still have a few years before, but I'm seriously not looking forward doing it.

I dunno about you but I'd rather not join the military of a country that actively takes part in war and imperialism no matter what the outfit.
Not sure about patriotism, but there are practical benefits for service. This includes early retirement, stable income, free education, job experience (for job hunting), college credit, free healthcare while enlisted, etc.

Many people have joined the military and came out successful. My uncle did it and is stable as Hell, and my friend is currently doing it and is enjoying the time. There's more to it than serving your country. Tough as Hell and requires a lot of research, though, so you gotta be committed.

I think it speaks to how porked this country is if people have to sign up to be shot at in order to get things that are basic, free services in other first world countries like health care and education.

Two votes for #2, so pumpkin it is.

Also I see military talk is going on? I don't really have anything to say so, er... have this instead.

I heard that they’re all in the same version. But whether a gym is in the major leagues or the minor leagues depends. The fighting gym is major in Sword, while the ghost gym is major in Shield. And vice versa.

Your ignorance is showing. Being shot at is more a concern for the army than it is for the Navy or Air Force. There are a multitude of specific jobs in each branch and not all of it is carrying a rifle into the Middle East. Engineering, flight testing, electronics, medicine. All of these can be performed without having to shoot a single bullet. Multiple Navy stations across the US and world, like Japan and Australia for example, stay far away from armed conflict.

I know the military has a reputation for being dank and tough, but it ain't just Saving Private Ryan, mate.

One of these days I’m actually gonna have something to do in my life, and I’m gonna have to take an extended break from the boards to do real life things.

And when I check back months later the website will be deleted because of an argument about cheese.
We weren’t spamming dab images, we were just looking at the floor for cheese!

Been watching a Crystal randomizer in the background. That stuff is great, especially with spinner hell and enemy trainer Pokemon having 50% higher levels. Falkner Rocker Esteban had a level 11 Psyduck and level 14 Sneasel.

The Navy and Air Force have bases in the middle east so it isn't unthinkable that they would be stationed there as well. It also doesn't avoid the fact that the military exploits poor people so they can have a decent chance at life in this godforsaken country.

I can see why people would join the military, but it just ain't for me even if my family is desperate.

I have just completed my first ever official Smash Ultimate tier list. This is based on both results and theory. Here's what I got:

Tiers are indeed in order.

Some character specifics....
:nessecho:- God among men
:ultpeach:- Best character in the game. She's consistently good at everything, and while she is floaty and semi-light it's not glaring to the point where her viability is greatly hindered. Good KO moves, amazing combo potential, decent range, and many players love playing her... Peach is the total package.
:ultjoker:- Joker's 2nd best in game. In my tournament results system he has the best results, but we also must account for theory: and he relies heavily on Arsene to get kills. Outside of Arsene, he's got decent air game but poor tilts overall. Thankfully for him he's got good movement, combos, and reliability. He's for sure a top tier... but he's not the best in the game imo.
:ultsnake:- Would be rated at #1 but he's fallen off since Peach and Joker rose to fame and Ally left the circuit. He's still got great theory and solid results, but counterplay has been discovered for him and he's not as strong as he used to be.
:ultpikachu:-Potentially the best theory in the game, but ESAM is carrying him right now. Can certainly win majors, but not consistently at the moment.
:ultbanjokazooie:- Still young in the meta but shows a lot of promise. Has been semi-popular so far and has an all-around reliable moveset.
:ultrosalina: and :ultsheik:- They've had a similar trajectory since Patch 4.00. Originally low tiers, they've been rising in popularity considerably since the patch. Dabuz has begun using Rosa more consistently, and VoiD now has Sheik as his main again. Both have risen in popularity overall as well, and have had solid results since the buffs. However, with Rosa's floatiness and Sheik's lack of KO power still, they aren't in the top 20 at the moment. They've still gotten far better as of late, though.
:ultmarth:- Marth is strange to me because his sour spots got a lot more obvious in Ultimate, while his sweet spots got nerfed. Yet, he's still got the sweet spot tipper that can come in handy. He's still got a few solid tools, but he feels like a watered down version of his Smash 4 self.
:ultbayonetta:- The longer time goes on, the less good she seems. She's still got great combos, but this is nothing like her Smash 4 self... it's very rare to see a zero-to-death combo with her, even though she keeps most of her combo strings. Her KO power is absolutely brutal, and her specials are all finnicky now. Couple that with average frame data and mediocre speed, and you're set up for low tier.
:ultpiranha:- Only reason why the Plant isn't in F tier is because of the run that the character went on all the way to Grand Finals this past summer. The character has a few good moves... but is still quite shoddy.
:ultkirby:- At least Little Mac has KO punch. Buff this poor thing please.

If there's a new console based Mario Kart on Switch, can it please have CTR's Grand Prix system?

Heck, this could also work for a Super Smash Kart.

It's not just the fact that you get a lot more content than what's there at base. It's consistent long term support.

It's not unthinkable, but there are a multitude of ways to not get sent to the Middle East. For example, requesting not to get sent to the Middle East. Again, reference my uncle and friend in the Navy. If it's that much of an issue despite the low likelihood, just don't enlist into the military.

I do agree that a lot of people go into the military without any clue what the **** the benefits are or why they're important. Like you and Noi, the immediate assumption was armed combat when that is far from what most enlisted men and women do. However, they can be sent into it if they don't understand how the process works, which is tragic. Recruiters ultimately don't care what happens to you. My response to Noipoi Noipoi was completely sarcastic in this regard. I'm not here to argue ethics though. I'm arguing benefits and facts.

However, if you know what you're signing up for and can do the work, it's not a bad idea to enlist--or at least it shouldn't be off the table. Informed decisions are the only way to live life after all. If you don't wanna do it, don't do it. Again, the military is a commitment.

I'm gonna make a tier list for Smash. But just based on like, my opinions of the characters and who I like.

The news that Sword/Shield has automatic EXP Share and they reconfirmed in the 101 facts that you can't turn it off pretty much confirms I'm not buying it. I'll wait for general impressions and see how they handle it but if previous GameFreak games are anything to go by, they're doing this to make it easier, not more balanced. Pretty disappointed that a series I've played for 21 years is no longer letting me play how I want.

Don’t really take tier lists in general into consideration because I am really good at the game why my mains (Ridley, Samus and Hero).

And that's fine. Play who you love, actually lol
1.) you won't enjoy the game if you always top tier chase
2.) tier lists are more relevant for competitive players as well. Tiers are everything to top players, only somewhat matter for semi-pros and regular tournament attendees, and don't matter at all for people that just wanna have fun.

Last call for questions in my AMA: https://smashboards.com/threads/were-still-kicking-semi-weekly-ama-ericthegamerman.489879/. I believe the next one should be going up later today haha.

Also, it's a damn shame AlphaDream has fallen on hard times. Not really surprised, but I had kind of been hoping they would come roaring back with a really good entry of Mario & Luigi on Switch or some new project. I guess there's a good chance that Switch development was a more difficult transition for them than they thought...
