2005 was the year Spongebob started declining in quality. The movie had came out the previous year and was supposed to serve as the series finale, but by then the show became too popular. It was renewed for Season 4, and the show continued to get worse in each season that followed.

2004/2005 was the decline of Nickelodeon to me. A lot of there shows from then on didn't have that awesome creative spark that Hey Arnold, Rugrats, Rocko,etc had imo. But yeah, 1999-2004 Spongebob is a framed work of art of animation.

That Cgi looks like garbage imo. Tbf thou that was kinda the point: meant to diffentiate the IRL World and the Dream World through Uncanney Valley.

I mean I know Troublemaker Studios never really had the best CGI and tried to use that for a more stylistic approach but even the Adventures of Werewolf Boy and Doesn't-Even-Have-a-Wikipedia-Page-But-Looks-Suspiciously-Like-Carmen-From-Sky-Kids Girl was pushing it with its crappy CGI.

2006 was when the first Marvel Ultimate Alliance game came out. That and the third one were good. Second suck poop in terms of roster.

I didn’t even realize this, but yeah. For the past decade you could only play as Sonic until Mania and Forces.

Didn't help that Danny Phantom and Jimmy Neutron ended around this time either. Fairly Oddparents took a drop in quality too a few years later.

There were a few good shows though. Despite what people say, neither of these shows were all that bad.
