You know, seeing the Sunshine difficulty talk, I wonder how much trouble I really had with them. Cause the thing is that I remember those parts, yet I don't remember a thing about how difficult they were, which given my case, if I don't remember them by difficulty, then either they were easy or they never gave me trouble.

2004 was the year when Shrek 2 came out.

DreamWorks most successful film to date. Almost reached a billion dollars and held the title of highest grossing animated film for 6 years until Toy Story 3 which was in turn dethroned by Frozen 3 years later.

2004 was also the year of Godzilla: Final Wars before the franchises decade long absence until the first installment of the MonsterVerse known as 2014's Godzilla came onto the big screen after 15 since Godzilla 2000.

So why does Link dream of Mario enemies?

Has he seen them before?

Has he met Mario before?

Are the worlds connected?
Obviously, this means Smash Bros. is 100% canon

You've read it on the internet, so of course it's legit

2004 was when we also got The Incredibles. One of Pixar's finest if I must say.

Then irony enough on top of DreamWorks most successful film to date also spawned probably its worst known as Shark Tale at least as reviews and such goes.

The entire Mario universe exists inside Link's head. That's why the Mario canon is so wonky, each Link imagines the people and places of the world slightly differently.

Ever had a dream where your mind completely makes something up, something not related to or based on anything you've seen before?

2004 was also the year when Spongebob was originally suppose to end with its movie which should had to begin with...

But nope due to the ratings Nick insisted on keep dragging the poor franchise through the mud rather then put it down as the sick dog it is especially now its getting a spin-off which its creator didn't want which was announced shortly after he died. Pretty suspicious...

Anything majorly Music-related happened in 2004?
American Idiot released in 2004.

People like to **** on Green Day, but in my opinion they're one of the few musical acts that has kept a consistent quality for their entire career (maybe with a hiccup here and there), and American Idiot was a cultural juggernaut at the time.

Not much of a music guy (besides videogame music), but what were some of their songs like?
