Sure. To unlock him, you need to find all six Infinity Stones on the World of Light map. They appear randomly on the overworld, and are about one millimeter in diameter. When you find them, you need to hold ZL and ZR and enter the Konami code. Only when you've done that for all six Infinity Stones will you unlock a hidden area, where you take on poorly-made Mii recreations of the Avengers, along with Jonesy from Fortnite, before getting to fight Thanos himself.

Beating Thanos unlocks Jonesy from Fortnite, and beating Jonesy's classic mode using the DK Bongos unlocks Thanos. (the game knows if you use anything else)

At the very least, I'm sure the animation for the new Mario movie will look great. Illumination manages to make visually appealing movies at half the price of Pixar and Disney's studios.

I just hope they use Detective Pikachu and Sonic as reference for what you should and shouldn't do regarding character designs. This might be one of the few cases where Miyamoto's "guidance" would come in handy.

Regarding the Mario movie discussion that's been going on, I feel the main issue is less who they cast/which characters are in as opposed to what the plot will be

"Mario saves the Princess" might be sufficient for a game but there's no way that's enough for a film which, even if they're aimed at kids, have to follow some kind of narrative structure
