change classes the moment you unlock a class's mastery skill (e.g. +5 HP for noble/commoner), or sometimes even before - the initial stat boost is minor, but the stat growths per level-up of even the beginner tier classes far outstrip those of the starting classes, and you can still move up to advanced classes later

Sakurai wasn't kidding when he said Spiral Mountain is beautiful. I did a quick import of the stage to look at the details, didn't bother with lighting and transparency and such though.

I still consider the frontrunners for fighter #5 to be Resident Evil, Phoenix Wright, Ryu Hayabusa, Doomslayer, Professor Layton, Dark Souls, Crash Bandicoot, and Lloyd Irving.

Heihachi dropped out out the list due to Bogard. I do not see them adding another fighting game character so soon. Maybe in the next pass.


Afterwards it all depends on timing, but considering they announced that the next fighters were in development in August I am inclined to believe they started to plan this in spring. I do not think it will change the game too much other than the likes of Travis, Steve, Sora, Dante, Chief, Lara Croft, Heihachi, and 2B entering the fray for another go.

Do y'all think $100 for a N64, the required cables, a 3rd Party N64 Controller, and a Banjo-Kazooie Cartrige is worth it?

I have more than enough the money, and I like old tech stuff...


And i'm also so freaking impatient for the eventual Banjo-Kazooie/Rare Replay port to the Switch....

Well, I'd say that's pretty good, yeah. But that's just my opinion.

What I wish for a RE Rep is to having its moveset, and mechanics primarily based on the Classic RE games (With maybe a few moves from the RE 4-6 games) since I feel like that would make Leon/Jill stand out from the cast in Smash.

Like an inventory mechanic when you pick up item that have limited use, to the mobility representing the tank controls, and is also probably a heavyweight.

You could probably get a 360 and B-K from the XBLA for cheaper.

Yeah, I considered that. But I'm not too interested in any other games for the 360, where as with the N64, there are other games I'm probably going to end up getting.

Also the satisfaction of playing on a real N64 is great.

Besides. The brutality of Doom cannot be expressed in smash bros. They would definitely have to tone it down. Doom Guy is better suited for Mortal Kombat. Not crushing Pikachus.

I want..... hmmm..... here’s a good analogy. I wanna be the Joker (DC) to Joker (Persona)’s Batman.

I’m the distraction. I make loud noises and splashed of light and color so everyone focuses on me while the Theives do their thing. Maybe include some Music Meister elements too?

They can perfectly capture the brutality of Doom without needing to use blood. Non-realistic guns, the chainsaw (would this push up the rating or is it just guns?), and even how Doom Slayer moves can express the feeling of playing Doom while still being family friendly enough to be in Smash.

Doom and Family Friendly do not go together. It is Doom. It is supposed to be full action, blood on the wall, chainsaw decapitation, murder. That is the point of doom. To take that away would be making Checks Quest.

That seems a little high to me. I've seen N64s with all of their cords and the original controller before for $30-40CAD and I often see Banjo for about $25CAD. If you search around a little, I'm sure you can find a better deal.
