So last fighter options. I hate the idea of Ryu from Ninja Gaiden, but many people seem to be after him. I am fine with Dante from Devil May Cry and Heihachi from Tekken.

Not sure who else would be relevant at this timeframe. I know mostly older characters, like Dig Dug. Who would make a good AT or Mii costume given what happened to Goemon.

I don't know how the writing treated her but it was meant as an example of IS not being completely strange to the concept.
After all, 3H is a game with many openly bisexual characters that are treated very well by the writing but it was preceeded by Fates with... Niles and Not!Tharja...

I get what you're saying, but I feel that to best understand the situation we also have to understand the examples given and how they reflect on the debate, and Kyza... doesn't reflect well. She was not the type of character that would be a good representation of how IS would go about treating a transgendered character and one I'd be hesitant to look towards when showing that they can do it.

Now I do agree that IS has made steps to improve their treatment of LGBT characters and it has shown in examples like Dorothea, but they still have much to learn nonetheless. There is still some level of unconfortability that you can see in their handling of their LGBT pairings and characters (particularly mlm ones), and they will have to keep growing as writers if they hope to improve that representation.

I really think they should be focusing on their next steps though. I’ve said it before and i’ll say it again, they’ve been really hitting out of the park lately, and that same effort and love they put into Mega Man and DMC and RE needs to go into their fighting games.

It's Street Fighter, of course it's gonna be popular in esports. It has the record of the largest EVO tourney ever and still had quite a sizable one this year as well. Not to mention the Capcom Pro Tour on top of it.

This game is definitely strong in the esports department.

Again, as long as the PS4 is still the primary focus, they should continue making content for SFV. Doesn't mean they aren't also workin on SFVI rn, but they still need to mantain the esports side of their only major fighting game rn.

You ****** can keep your Gacha, I'll play my "Poverty Platformers" with multiple characters thank you very much. I'll probably use Simon and Shanoa for this one. For Mega Man X Dive, I'll mostly use Mega Man X and Axl given the starting roster.

Very rough estimate but I'd say 10%-ish of the main story. XI also has a ridiculously extensive postgame though, so you could spend a lot more time on the game if you wanted to.

I find him a dull character and his games to be bland. He is from the NES hard era where games were no praised for good design, but because of how hard they were. He matches this perfectly. Ninja Gaiden has fun elements, but its overall design and difficult make it a slog to play through and only worth it if people want to "master" a 30 year old game (which is a waste of time.) When it had its revival on the Xbox, the games were not hailed for being good, just being hard. He stems from the position of separating people into hard core gamers vs casual, which I find as a problem. A gamer is not someone who just plays hard games, it is a person who sees gaming as their primary hobby. So Ryu to be is a example of separation. That and he is completely overrated. Shinobi is a much better pick.

For Contra, I see them on the same level as Goemon. Mii Costumes. I hate the idea of tracer because Blizard. Which puts me in the position of not really knowing who would be next or who I would support.

I spent most of the morning playing Fire Emblem: Three Houses. I feel a lot better about time management in that game, especially since increasing my professor level gives me more opportunities to do activities and bond with the rest of the group.

I don't know when I'll be able to recruit students from other houses (there were a few that caught my attention during the initial decision for which house to choose, though I assume that the leaders and their second-in-commands can't be recruited - not sure who the second-in-command is for Claude, though), so I haven't tried yet (I figure it's too early for that).

I'm also not sure about when I should change classes - I have the option to change the classes of Byleth and Edelgard, but the stat boosts seem minor, and I feel like I should wait until I have access to more advanced classes.

I've got the day off of work, so I might play Ocarina of Time this afternoon. I don't know if I'll get through Hyrule Castle and Dodongo Cavern in one sitting, but I'd like to give it a shot.
