Anyways, I can totally see a "trans" Zelda in the sense that her soul is reincarnated as a male once. Yes, she has the Goddess Hylia in her (or at least SS Zelda did while every other Zelda needed to train to use their ancestral divinity in the forn of holy magic or whatever) but that doesn't mean they can't inhabit whatever body they please--look at Spirit Tracks. By the way, friendly reminder Ganondorf was once inside Zelda, a female body, back in TP. Plus, I feel like it'd be interesting to see how they treat that storyline.

Also, Link doesn't HAVE to be male in every game. He was always intended to be somewhat ambiguous to represent the sexes anyways.

Granted this isn't really trans anyone in Zelda since it's just their immortal spirits inhabiting bodies regardless of the sex but still--I think it'd be interesting.

I don't need to 100% agree with her to defend her, considering all I saw was people attacking a headcanon I came up with even for whatever reason they can find because they couldn't handle one of the chracters in their games being trans. I don't care how Gwen presents it but I understand very well why she would be defensive over it because it's not about that, if anyone said "Claude canonically eats McDonald's" no one would bat an eye but when someone tries to imply a character couod be trans people get up in arms about it.

I'm gonna end this with a note: if you're gonna insist that Mercedes being trans is to be clearly presented as a headcanon, then you should do the same when you claim characters are cis, unless you have substantial evidence.

We did. Sylvain and Mercedes' ending states they built a loving home life with a bunch of children.

Either Sylvain had a biological son with Mercedes, or Sylvain cheated on Mercedes.

Or Mercedes died and Sylvain remarried, but I feel this would be said.

Nah. It's clear Claude was supposed to like both sexes before they pulled a hard reset.

If Ike was less of a workaholic, this question would be easier to answer. Ike ain't exactly the common man.

Since it's not stated, I'm just going to say his sexuality is ambiguous and we can't make assumptions on who he likes. Boom. Conversation ended. If you continue after this point, I throw you in jail without passing Go.

indeed, this very legitimate document states that sylvain is trans at the officers academy; however, it fails to clarify whether or not sylvain is trans once he leaves the officer's academy post-timeskip, and so we cannot say with any confidence that he is still trans at the time of marrying mercedes

The real question is which best friend? :V Soren and Ranulf both have a claim lmao

Vivian from Paper Mario? I don't consider her trans but only because I'm an American who played the localized version. It's written in a way to where you'd never know if Vivian is trans otherwise.
