Its so lame that Three Houses, a game all about unit customization, has genderlocked classes again.

Hildas been tearing it up with Gauntlets for me, but with War Master being male only I have no idea what I'm going to end up making her Master Class. She only has two options that aren't mounted.

Time to change her goals to swords and reason I guess.

I caved in and bought one of the Street fighter 5 dlc's that was on sale. Specifically the nostalgia set since it's the one I wanted the most

I also pre ordered Dragon quest 11 on switch today.Thats about as much money as I'm willing to privilously spend until the holidays roll around

I thought it was good. I was a bit concerned at first when I didn't see Pikachu with the other gen 1's but then I noticed he was there.

Yeah I figured he would’ve been the default choice being the mascot and everything so he and Eevee have their own category right now.

All solid and logical choices, imo. It's pretty good.

Why go after Manuela when Linhardt steals the show in every one of his supports

Honestly I feel like Linhardt is one of the weaker characters in the game.

If any of the last two DLC fighters are 1st party who do you guys think is the most likely at this point?

Likely? Not too sure honestly.

Part of me wants to say Ribbon Girl since Spring Man's an assist. But that'd be like adding Ken before Ryu. Although Morrigan's in everything and Dmitri isn't. A Pokemon's usually a safe bet. Who it'd be in particular ain't easy to point out. There's also Elma, who's fairly popular and has a stage and quite a bit of music to pull from.

Or maybe a retro character like Excitebike Man or Mach Rider.

Feels great when news is shared of a follow-up interview, and the first thing you hear is all that could go wrong with the job and how it might not even be able to sustain me financially, even though we don't know for sure yet what the benefits are for sure.

What do you guys think of another Sonic rep in smash? Tbh as popular as Sonic is i'm surprised there's only one playable character in smash.

I do feel the same, but I'm conflicted. Mostly because I like the way their movesets actually work when I play them, but there could be more things changed about them that make them stand out. Aesthetic changes, like wielding the Razor Sword maybe, moveset changes, like using the Deku Leaf for his recovery perhaps, changes like that. It feels like the Links were meant to be familiar enough to use, no matter which one is picked. Not that having them similar is bad, but we have some clear missed opportunities for representation of other games.

Although I would argue Ganondorf undoubtedly has it worse when it comes to his moveset. Not including the Doriyah.

Oh I still enjoy their movesets don't get me wrong, there's enough differences between Link and Toon Link that I can switch between both and not feel like it's the exact same experience.

I can get having one of the extra links being similar to another, but now that we have 3 I would've really liked for them to have gone crazy with the last one. Give me a Toon Link that uses the Skull Hammer and Deku Leaf, or (my personal favorite) a Mask wielding Young Link.

It just feels like further missed opportunities for a series that has historically felt like it's been poorly represented.

Also don't get me started on Ganondorf. It's telling that one character having a sword was one of the highlights of the entire "Everyone Is Here" direct for me.

Where did you hear that? Online comments or directly from the employee? A little research is not a bad idea in either case given that it could be a different opportunity from what you expected.

I think the mask idea, while neat, would probably more hassle than it's worth, at least if used to its full potential. Since that'd be even more work than Pokemon Trainer I think(Young Link + Goron + Deku + Zora is quite a bit). Unless the masks only did one special and one Smash Attack or something. Fierce Diety should have been an FS though.

I do Agree that Toon Link having the Skull Hammer and Deku Leaf would be nice. That changes like 4 moves at once already. I think other "semi-staple" Weapons would work well too. Quite a few versions of Link have the Fire Rod/Magic Rod for example.

If Knuckles wasn't already an Assist, I'd shill for him too since he was always my favorite of that series.

Tails makes the most sense though. Literally Sonic's Luigi.

So aside from what’s already in Smash, what areas/locations from the Pokémon series would make good stages for a dedicated Pokémon Smash game?
