Here's the thing, we had legitimate evidence with box theory, such as the box being laid out in a way where there'd be an echo placed between Plautena and Cloud, which ended up being Ken. That was most certainly supposed to be a pattern

Sakurai created Bandanna Dee.

Also, there was a Kirby's Epic Yarn stage planned for Smash 4 that didn't work out and got turned into the Great Cave Offensive, so I wouldn't say he is that biased towards his own games. There is a dearth of Kirby content in general.

See That makes no sense. We got crafted world as a stage which is literally likely epic yarn. There’s no reason to not have had epic yarn. It’s clear they wanted the great cave offensive more imo.

And I really don’t think Sakurai sees that waddle Dee from super star’s mini game as bandanna Dee. Unless of course I’ve missed somewhere confirming that. There is very clearly a bias.

He changed it because yoshi's woolly world got announced. He likely didn't want those conflicting themes. We don't know how he views bandanna Dee so it's useless to speculate on it. If we're being honest, most of Kiby's most iconic elements come from Sakurai's games. It makes sense they would have the most content.

Which is why this leak is obviously fake cause literally only people who have gone into the game’s folder (and optionally are in the Doom modding community) would get the joke
