Doomguy is a mix between his classic look and his modern look, while the full on modern look is a skin. They really went all out on his moveset. His stage is literally called "smash.wad"

Agumon is the final character to end off the pack. He is still in very early development as of right now. But I know that his moveset is based primarily off of the Digimon Battle Arena games.

Bandana Waddle Dee is in development as a free extra if you bought the fighters pass. Pretty ****ty if you ask me.

It is true that most are fake and it is reasonable to skip them, but not all have been fake.

Look at bandanna dee’s spirit, it’s 3 stars non upgradable and kinda of weak. When as a mainstay in Kirby he should honestly have gotten the legendary spirit treatment. Hell we can’t even get stages based on the newer games

Lost me there, pal. Sorry if this sounds rude, but Doomguy is such a staple of garbage fake 4Chan leaks that it's hard to take anything that mentions him seriously. Besides that, it's a 4Chan leak with no evidence to back it up, not much else to say about that.

I'd be more fine with it if wasn't gonna be exclusive to Disney's streaming service.

There are four empty slots in the voice section of the sound test menu as of 4.0.0, one of which is going to be taken by Banjo and Kazooie, and this leaves us three empty slots.
The three empty slots could be filled by:

• One voiced fighter with a different character/opposite gender alt and another fighter with a voice
• Three voiced fighters which possibly means a new post fighters pass fighter is coming or surprisingly, all three of them share one slot like Pokemon Trainer which possibly means that last fighters pass fighter may be voiced or not.
• One fighter with two more different character alts which means that the next fighter doesn't have a voice.

But there is a chance that we may get a fighter with more than three alts which leads into new theories that the 10 remaining unannounced placeholder DLC fighter slots in the WOL CSS files could be real.

Long-story short, Doom was one of the first games to have a popular modding scene, stemming as far back as it's original release in 1993. Doom uses .WAD files to store all the data, so for example the OG Doom's data to run the game is stored in the file DOOM.WAD. Most mods for Doom alter the game with new WAD files, including custom maps and textures (eg nuts.wad, a fairly infamous custom map). The modding scene is probably one of the most iconic aspects of Doom and is likely part of the secrets to it's maintained popularity, so it would be a neat reference.

Like bruh, I work in a -30 WC and dealt with 80/85 degrees temperature outside. There are people who have NO idea what it's like working in an environment like I do and it gets tiresome to hear. I bet they can't last FIVE minutes in the extreme temperature without complaining (meant to post this yesterday but had things lol)



I'm not really sure about the Pokemon announcement today. It's not bad and I enjoyed it, but they should've thrown in just a slight bit more. Or at least another two Pokemon with Galar forms if possible

That's just one piece of the "***** you, EA" pie.

People just don't hate EA for rushing games. They hate them for loading their games with Activision, putting next to no soul and passion into their projects, and the games often just not even being fun in the end.

Making sure SwSh is out by Christmas this year isn't just because they want to please investors, it's because delaying the games will completely screw over several other companies with their own SwSh related media preparing to launch this holiday. Delaying the game would actually cause chaos for all the companies involved in the anime and all the various types of merch from toys to clothing, including all the investors of those companies and their employees.

It's not a matter of "If we delay the game we lose that holiday boost, but release a better game next year and ultimately get better publicity and sales."
It's a matter of "If we delay the game we destroy the entire holiday season plan for several other companies, piss off not only our own but other companies' investors, and damage the relationship the Pokemon Company (our superiors) have with the other media companies, with the reward of angry internet people being less angry."

If SwSh got delayed you'd see a bunch of gaming journalists and social media posters singing GameFreak's praises.
What you wouldn't see is the hundreds of higher ups and employees at different countries losing their minds, because their pay for the next year just got slashed to appease a vocal, but really small minority of Pokemon fans.


As for "not caring about quality," that's just incorrect.
While I'll still fault GameFreak for considering Mega Evolution a one-time gimmick when fan's loved it and cutting it, and for failing to give a good reason for the loss of the national dex, saying they are putting no love into these games at all is just ridiculous.
They didn't need to make wide open areas with free camera control.
They didn't need to bring back regional variants AND expand them beyond Gen 1.
They didn't need to make new evolutions for old Pokemon, something we haven't seen since Gen 4 and fans wanted ever since.
They didn't need to pay close attention to all the little details that help the worldbuilding, such as the sponsors on Leon's back.

They could've just made another game with some new Pokemon, a new story, fixed camera and linear routes, but they didn't because even if some of their passion is misguided, it's still there.

I mean, if the anime and merch are prioritized that much, couldn’t they just release the anime first and release the game 6-8 months later?

Even if it is fake, Doomguy and Augumon are still likely picks. It’s like the dozens of fake “Erdrick and Banjo at E3 leaks”. Just because those leaks were fake didn’t mean that we weren’t getting those characters.

Doesn't really tell us much...other than we could have an alt or a companion/partner with lots of different voice lines from the playable character, and they may simply leave the space unused.

Sakurai created Bandanna Dee.

Also, there was a Kirby's Epic Yarn stage planned for Smash 4 that didn't work out and got turned into the Great Cave Offensive, so I wouldn't say he is that biased towards his own games. There is a dearth of Kirby content in general.

Duck Hunt has one voice slot despite the dog and duck having different noises, so probably not.
