You have a point. It's just rare that the villain is the only one included.

Plus, Wesker doesn't offer the marketing chops the various protagonists do, considering how ****ing dead he is. Unless they plan on remaking RE5 or re-remaking RE1 his story is done.

A solid majority of Dragon Quest games were ported to handheld systems, so would you rather take Dragon Quest IV for DS or the original NES version?
Dragon Quest 8 from PS2 or the 3DS port?

Why does anyone want Phoenix Wright in Smash

You're the last one that should


be asking that. But as for why, fun characters, good music, and closely tied to Nintendo's History, much like Mega Man and Castlevania. I'm not a fan of the series myself, but I have people in my family who plays them, so it'd still be cool for me to see the guy pop up in the game.

Capcom owns some very notable franchises

Mega Man

Street Fighter

Resident Evil

Ace Attorney

Devil May Cry

Monster Hunter


I'd argue they're up there with Nintendo in terms of owning some of the most ludicrous Japanese gaming ips

I still own mine, it’s all hooked up and ready to go. Honestly I only really play BOTW and Smash 4 on it, but only sm4sh sometimes. I’m so used to Ultimate that looking back now the game feels really slow.
