either way whatever, i barely agree with these but that's probably just cause i'm biased/ranking the top 10 is ridiculously hard

I agree 100%. However, there should be little to no discrepancies between ****** out of state and ****** locally, they should go hand in hand, but they don't here in Socal.

It's a huge, goofy, problem, and I have no idea what's going on.

It happened back in the days when DSF would win every local, but choke oos. Except those who ***** OOS would still get top 2/3 everytime locally. There's no reason for lucky to get 13th at a local after getting 7th @ a national. Same with zhu.

IMO, it has little to do with ability, and there could be outside factors screwing up results, like bad controllers, poor sleep, idk, something. In considering such factors, putting these people in categories would pretty much beg us to ignore such factors and pretend that Lucky really can beat Amsah and Dr. PP, yet lose to Light and Eddy Mexico on the regular.

And that sounds ******** to me.

I think with me / lucky, we've kinda played everyone so many times and done well, any now everyone caught up / figured us out and it's hard to keep up (or at least that's the case with me). I personally don't really have the time / motivation to really prepare for local tournaments the way I did last year, and would only do that for big tournaments like Pound. That and we just... try harder at bigger tournaments and I guess we're just more successful with a larger player pool who haven't played us yet because we have some more experience out of state.

That and, I don't think I'll ever beat you / fly LOL. Too tiring / frustrating LOL.

fly is very frustrating, you have to be soooo patient to play him and if you get frustrated you're screwed. You cant take fly lightly, you do have to try to beat him.

We don't punish people for lack of attendance. There is criteria set for reaching "active" status. Once that criteria is met, you are directly ranked on an even field with all other active players.

However, you can indirectly be affected by your lack of attendance if players below you outperform you in your absence, causing them to move up (Fly). But a player can remain unmoved if we can assume, based on performances during the period, that he would have placed relatively the same as he does when he IS in attendance. The panel felt that Connor did not outperform Kira, even in his absence. His 2nd place finish yesterday was really the deciding factor in a very close decision between the 8th and 9th spots. MacD was in the top 8 mix as well.
