Where do you live? I have a couple friends that play melee and we're gonna start a crew. I honestly think I'm gonna catch on to melee faster than brawl. I can't perform the ATs yet, but I can already see what situations they're useful in. The only hard part is making it second nature. But yeah where do you live?
it's a good idea to practice all the advanced techniques by yourself or with a friend before you go out to a smashfest, it gets boring playing against people who only know how to roll around and do a few good moves. learn how to l-cancel and wavedash around first

being able to watch someone play and notice a habit they have and playing that person and being able to punish their habits/adapt to their style are two verrrryyyyy different things

i'm pretty sure even pb&j could notice how dr.pp rolls from the edge like every fukken time he's in his shield but he would still get 4 stocked by that sexy falco

Dazu! I KNOW HIM! I RAN HIS POOL!

He's alright, he needs to stop rolling toward me alot =/
Yeah IDK why he does that. BTW he's like the biggest Zhu fan ever lol. He like sat down with me and watched a vid and like, disected his style and he picked up a lot of things from him.

And yeah I'll practice L-canceling and wavedashing before going to a smashfest.

MELEE FTW!!!

you gotta be your own teacher first

anyone can be trained, but only people with good tech skill learn anything from it
I've practiced a LOT at home.

I feel like i could benefit from playing you more than getting tips like "don't miss l cancels." Cause i don't.

I'm about even with jason and got s2j to 1 stock last tourney... ._.

The melee players seem so much more chill too. Everybody who plays brawl thinks their **** don't stink.

Oh and I just deleted all the brawl videos I added to my favorites on youtube and started adding melee videos lol. Way more fun to watch anyway. In brawl it's like "oh he's camping woo hoo what else is new." Melee is like "**** son you just got yo a$$ *****!!!"

Everybody can take me to 1 stock, sometimes by confusing me with their nooby tactics

but they won't beat me

Lol... tech skill wise...

That statement out of context makes me seem like a royal douche. I was just trying to say I'm good enough to take advice XD

I realize you win 80% of the games but it's not cause you're so clearly more technical.

And I obviously wont argue i'm nearly good enough to beat s2j. Just saying... if the reason i'm loosing is "nooby tactics" then clearly i have stuff to learn!
