...And it blows.

I see no reason to play it over B+, unless you hate having fun.

Of course I'm going to be stuck playing it now because the guy I showed it to hated Brawl+ because he couldn't momentum cancel anymore and he only played as light characters, and no one wants to play vBrawl. And he has the Wii my "crew" (aka my friends) play with.

In short, **** you, Balanced Brawl.

It's a decent idea if you like vBrawl's physics over Brawl+'s, but the characters aren't very well balanced yet.

Yoshi's "game changer" was making his worst arial (fair) act like Donkey Kong's side-B if the opponent is on the ground. As an ex-Yoshi main, I can tell you that that is just the thing he didn't need.

However, I did read the guide thingy on BBrawl, and it didn't really seem that good; Brawl+ is definitely the most appealing of the two in my eyes; not to say BBrawl is bad.

Why don't people just play Brawl?

Because I like having fun.

And yes, he buries his foes at a certain angle. It's interesting, but it's very hard to land and doesn't fit into his style well imo.

All these different custom Brawl projects to alter the game and make a new more tournament viable game/competitive game. Man if there are so many around, isn't the whole idea going to become less significant?

I don't play it because it's more tourney viable, but because Brawl became stagnant for me. We'll see what happens with the rest.

Now, as for the topic on hand, I appreciate what BB is trying to accomplish. Getting rid of ridiculous chain grabs (sans Wario's for some reason), infinites, and ridiculous grab releases and the like is a pretty noble cause.

Will it be as recognized or accepted as well as B+? Probably not.

Will MORE characters get silly, unnecessary buffs that blurs the boundaries between the two hacked versions? It seems so.
