DUDE crews would be amazing. Can we can we can we?? I love crews more than anything ever. If we could take Wes from Pittsburgh we could be the bros, otherwise we'll just have to go with modified Minibosses (blue lazer + velocity + gotm).

Also, it's recently come to my attention that we do not have to be out of the venue until 5 PM Sunday. That makes me really want to segragate Melee and Brawl to doing all sorts of Melee on Saturday and then doing Brawl early on Sunday. However, I know this might be a pain for people with a long drive back home, so I want some feedback about this. Here's what I'm proposing for a schedule of events:

Saturday
9:30 Doors Open
11:00 Registration Opens
12:00 Doubles Start
After Doubles Finishes Low Tiers Start (~2:30)
After Low Tiers Finishes Singles Pools Start (~5:00)
After Singles Pools Finishes Singles Bracket Start (~6:30)
10:00 Crew Battles
Get some sleep at venue

Sunday
9:30 Brawl Doubles
12:00 Brawl Singles

Feedback people, how epic does this sound!? Also, should Brawl singles be $10 or $5 entry fee? I'm thinking $5 now cause I hate the game...

Yeah, that looks right. I just remember that right after you beat Taki, Evan convinced me that he could take your stocks easily... I think he lost 3 of his trying. Anyhow, the crew battle was still down to the last stock. It was super fun.

Also, the schedule looks good... keeping Brawl and Melee separate is a really good idea.

actually i have one request.

could teams possibly be raised to $20 per team? I hate how teams always gets the shaft on money. each event should be the same $ per person, teams isn't less important than singles >=(

it sucks when you work your way through tons of teams, get 2nd to m2k, and get $15 each.
this is somewhat a greedy request, but i really only think its fair to reward the teams that practice and deserve it over the cost of $5 extra dollars per person.

if not oh well, but we'd really appreciate it and it would immensly increase our chances of coming

Yeah LOL last time I just got **** on by Techzero and Eggm in singles. They kept using cheap tactics such as spacing on me.

But teams is my thing, it's what I focus on much more often than singles. And at $5 a person I kind of feel like it's not a serious tournament. I mean, you spend more than $5 every time you go to Burger King, I think it's fair to spend $10 on a semi-major tournament, so it holds more weight.

interesting side note, it's $100 cheaper to fly into akron/canton than it is to fly into pittsburgh

if something good comes up ($200 or less) i'd probably go, but that's unlikely
