Eastern PA and NJ seem to have a good bit of interest right now, but not a lot of rides. Those of you who are interested should try to figure out a ride soon, cause the drive from Philly to Pittsburgh is ~5 hours... Not trying to scare anyone off, I just want you guys to get on it so that you're not scrambling for such a long ride last minute.

Are any pitts people offering housing. Scar myself and Gotm are staying with mogwai(right?). Everyone else is gonna need a place to stay.

Yes, there is a decent number of couches to crash at the venue on Saturday night. However, if people need to come the night before, we can most likely find housing with a Pittsburgher for you. Pocky also mentioned that CMU (my school) doesn't really care about people crashing on couches in dorm lounges, so as a last resort, we could probably get away with housing people in XYT and heYniveK's dorm on Friday night.
And also, yes, Pakman, you, GOTM and Scar are staying at my place for whatever length of time you guys decide to be here. I wish I could offer more housing, but with those three, my apt gets pretty cramped.

no, but close enough. If you can get to CMU, we can fit you into a car to get there. It's about 30 minutes northwest of Pittsburgh.

holy FAWK that is way too expensive unless someone feels like MMing me using Bowser against my Fox on Poke Floats. Also, this is a 2 day event? Yeah, I probably can't come then. I have a friend who lives in CMU and LK also offered to house me, but I'd need a ride back after Saturday.

sigh... remember what assuming does?
The only definates from your area are Scar, Pakman, GOTM and Velocity, and none of them are good for rides. This is why I'm bringing it up people!

If it were my tourney I would let as many people as wanted be in a crew so long as it's 20 stock and separated by no more than 1. Like M2K can't have 10 and random 10 players have 1 each.

I feel like this is a cool idea and adds another strategy element.
When you think about it, there are varying advantages to having a bunch of people with few stock each as well as few people with a bunch of stock each.
Having more people allows for more counter pick options and match up variety. When a player loses all his or her stock the team doesn't take a big hit and can counter pick accordingly. If a crew consists of similar skilled players with varying characters this is very advantageous.
Having more stock lets your better players stay in longer. Like I would put my money on a crew of m2k and a super scrub over 5 mediocre players.
Also, a disadvantage to having more members in a crew is that the crew will lose more individual matches. Everytime a crew loses an indivual match the player on the other crew gets to reset their percent.

More counterpicks for larger crews, more stocks resetting to 0% for smaller crews. I think that balances out. Blue Lazer.

Hmmm. I really want to come to this, but there's a brawl tournament the same day here in maryland. It's so hard to make up my mind!
