I'll be bringing my cube + Melee. Hope everyone does the same and please will the Brawlers bring their Wiis+Brawl. Nearly every Brawler has a wii+brawl so BRING IT! (My excuse is my parents don't want me to take my Wii because they 'own' it lol)

All versions of Brawl are the same unlike Melee. Brawlers really do need to step it up with bringing setups tho.

Also Willz, I've heard you might not be coming? Let me know so I can find another partner...

There are differences between US and EU Brawl, but they're not differences that will affect a tournament. They're still totally fine. Also, you should all bring your GC+Wii like Fuzzyness said. Then you'll get doubles and if any are recorded, that will give me something to watch lol! :dizzy:

Here:

* In the NTSC version, stage names are in ALL CAPS, whereas in the PAL version, they aren't. For example, if in the NTSC version say it's "DELFINO PLAZA" In the PAL version, it's "Delfino Plaza".

* In the PAL version, Pokemon's names are ALL CAPS, as they are in their own main series video games.

* The Nintendo Chonicle in the NTSC version goes up to "December 2007". In the PAL version, it goes up to "14 March, 2008".

* All games that have different names in PAL regions have been changed accordingly. For example, the song entitled "Brain Age: Train Your Brain in Minutes a Day" is now called "Dr Kawashima's Brain Training: How Old is Your Brain?". All references to "Donkey Kong: Barrel Blast" are now "Donkey Kong: Jet Race", all references to "Kirby Squeak Squad" have been altered to "Kirby Mouse Attack", and all references to "Star Fox" and "Star Fox 64" have been changed to "Starwing" and "Lylat Wars" respectively. (There are many more examples).

* When performing a Flying Slam: if used to do a Sacrifical KO while both players are on the last stock of a Stock Brawl (in the PAL version), the player number doesn't matter. The player who is on the top (Bowser), when the KO happens, wins. This also applies for Ganondorf if is trying to do a Sacrifical KO with a Flame Choke.

* The song entitled "The Roost" for Smashville has been changed to "Brewster's Roost" in PAL.

* The trophy description on Lyn lists her age as 18, while in the US version, her age is said as 15. In the Japanese version of Fire Emblem, Lyn was 15, while in the US, her age was changed to 18.

* In some Lucas' Trophy, "Tazumili" was changed to "Tazmily", a name used in EarthBound 64's production.

* If a CPU Luigi uses Negative Zone, he will only spam his Fireballs over and over again, even if its AI is set to Level 9. Similarly, Pit will only spam his Palutena's Arrow move during his Final Smash, Palutena's Army. (This behaviour is likely caused by CPs thinking that the "Final Smash in progress" state is the same as the "Final Smash ready to use" state, and therefore attempting to use the neutral special to activate it.) This error has been fixed in the PAL version. However, if nobody moves during Pit's Final Smash, he will still often spam arrows facing to the left.

* The PAL version of Negative Zone trophy mentions nothing about Luigi embracing the dark side in his brother's shadow, it just says that in contrast to the oddness of the dance, it is a very powerful Final Smash.

* The Challenges section in PAL has no shatterproof windows.

* The infinite explosion glitch was removed in the PAL version.

* There are overall less errors in the PAL version, such as some of the trophy descriptions, due to having more time to fix them (and delaying the game's release at the time).

* Wolf's Side B has an odd property that allows him to pass through stage-edges, allowing him to appear on the stage with little lag. Also, there is a slight chance that Wolf will fail to grab the ledge if he hits it at the tip of the move. The ledge tricks are absent in the PAL version.

Like you said, none of them random chances between versions affect tournament play. Brawlers need all the set-ups they can get.

Why would someone jack a Wii anyway?

If I come (which I probably will) I'll carry my paperweight over.

No one would thats not the problem, a lot of events Brawlers have very few set ups and complain because of it where the Brawl community doesn't bring setups themselves.

Look forward to seeing you at this event to :)

So I guess you could categorize 'Us ****** you lot' under 'Doing the wrong thing'.
Because we always do that and we are pretty helpless to stop it

On a serious note though I think a list should be made for every who HAS NOT got housing because it's kinda hard to keep with just the occasional post asking for housing.

So let me start it off

NO HOUSING LIST
....

well, me and tow other guys have got a hotel room 2 miles away, but i doubt youd want to stay with us, it would cost you £10 for your end of the room, but if youre really struggling for a place, pm me.
