I'm not a huge fan of Paper Mario either, but pretty much

Got two I'm stuck on choosing: Chase or BindingBlade

Chase: Missing Falco, Jigglypuff, and a Fire Emblem veteran, 5 Mario reps + Paper Mario is too much right now.
Binding: Missing Jigglypuff, too early for a 2nd Animal Crossing rep, too early for a 4th Kirby rep, Tingle not a good choice for 5th Zelda.

Ultimately voted for Chase because to me, veterans are higher priority than newcomers. I mean, everyone should have Falco now.

I wanted to put it up as a notice that this will likely be the last game I'll be able to host due to schoolwork taking over my time. If someone wants to take over this thread, please contact me via PM.

Without a new host, this game will go dormant. The one who wishes to take the mantle should know the requirements and work this can take. I'd prefer that this user be ready to continue as soon as next week if possible, and if they are in the current game that they drop out of it. I can still update, but by the end of next week it will not likely be fittable in my schedule to keep this running.

I planned on announcing this later, but my future upcoming schedule means that my time is limited. I'll be transferring the thread ownership to this next host as the current thread is suitable.

EDIT: Currently speaking with a potential runner.

the only reason why big axle took over in the first place was because I was to busy to keep manage of the place and well he got impatient,
now i'm practically cleared on up, and I can take it back. haven't said anything yet because he said that someone else might run it.

My vote was between smashmaster and sunny, as I did not think they represented Nintendo wel (mostly because of the large percent of human to animal/inanimateobject/wtfisthat) characters. Nintendo is not all about the human.

Ultimately smasher, because even the human characters he included were just too redundant to me (I don't think captain rainbow, Lucas, or quite a few others deserve a space. They dont scream Nintendo, and when you have so many it dillutes the roster).

• DIXIE HELICOPTERS IN - I wanted to complete the Donkey Kong Quartet, so here we are.
• SAKI AMAMIYA PUNISHES THE OPPONENTS - Wanted to represent a new series, so here we are.
• MII'S TIME TO SHINE! - Eh, even though I'm not the biggest Mii Fan, everyone was gonna add him eventually and now seemed like a good time.
• ANDY COMMANDS ONTO THE FIELD - Wanted an Advance Wars rep at this point, and our pal Andy fit the bill just fine.
• IKE (FINALLY) MAKES HIS DEBUT - YES! I FINALLY ADDED IKE! I've been wanting to do that since the veteran round. Seriously.
• HONORABLE MENTIONS: Ganon, Sonic or Mega Man or Banjo-Kazooie
• TOTAL SERIES: 31 (Previous Rounds + Sin & Punishment, Wii, and Advance Wars)

Next round I think I shall start integrating the third parties.

Okay this is kind of subject to change but right now:

Newcomers:
RAY Locks on! - Needed another franchise, and I was one of the only ones without him.
TOON LINK Tunes in! - I hate the fact I need to add him to appease people. He's not original at all. I like Young Link even more.
DUCK HUNT DOG Laughs it up! - Again the need to add a retro. I feel at least one per round is good.
JIGGLYPUFF Puffs it up! - Same with Toon Link. I think Meowth is the better choice. I mean I like her, but don't find her to be needed.
VIRIDI Tsunderes down! - Wanted another KI rep and I think she's perfect. Plus another female character which I want to have one of per round. (In this case two since I don't think I had one last round)

Tetra: A better choice than Shiek in my opinion. She really feels more characterized, if you ask me.
Saki: Representing a miscellaneous series I've been wanting to add in.
Ike: I feel a bit wary, having 4 Fire Emblem characters, but I didn't like the absence of Ike last round.
Meowth: A more important character to the series than Jigglypuff. Building from the ground up, Jigglypuff just doesn't make sense compared to other Pokemon. I also considered Eevee or Sylveon due to their popularity.
Starfy: Same deal as Saki.

Vaati: I think Sheik can be kept with Zelda, so I'm going with my personal favorite Zelda newcomer choice for the fifth slot.
Dixie Kong: I think DK deserves four at this point.

I might add third parties soon, I just don't want there to be a third party round (there was last time) an get screwed with 6 or 7 third party characters. I'm hoping that we get a theme round soon though. I like those.

Yes!! I was planning on adding Dixie Kong and a 6th Mario character this round and now I don't have to worry about that standing out to much.
However, it does mean I need a new surprise choice... hmm...

Alrighty alllllrighty.

Soon as I get a specialty icon made I will be ready to have my roster! So, to get it up and going, I will let eveyone know what I am at, though slightly subject to change.

the big change: I'm making Zoroark a transformation character, who uses smash attacks as himself, but special attacks of two others. In the air his illusion will be as JIGGLYPUFF, but on the ground he will appear as Meowth. I will get more specific into the mechanics when I post, but its my way of getting in a very unique fifth gen rep, and still having two other pokemon (which I accidentally typed as people) that really should have some sort of playable aspect on their own representation.

But, that isnt a new character space, that is updating how Jiggs is represented. However, as this may be seen as risky, gotta do some other fan service.

So, I will be beefing up a couple of other series.
-DK should have four, so, even though many others posted this before me, I've been ready for Dixie. So, Dixie. Been playing too much of her outside lately, and I may want her more than K rool now (which is great, because... one has to make it into ssb4, yeah?)
-Vaati. I love him. It is the second of only two reasons I can see Toon Link being a viable option (the first being that if I have ZSS and Paper Mario, Link needs another form). Since there are four DK now, I wanted five Zelda. Gotta do more buffing each round now it seems.
-ROB, because how did I miss him?
-Starfy, to add more color to my roster, and another non human/oid character.

This final spot is kind of up in the air. I'm between Toad, Bubbles, Falco or Krystal, Saki. And an honorable mention to Marina from Mischief Makers, who will get in if this player makes it toward the 80 or 90 mark.
It could have been a Chorus member but they were way too popular this round.

I will be adding third party quite soon, but as I dont want to add just one at a time, it must wait.


EDIT: Ultimately, I already had added in two series this round, so I think it is important to add another buff, and go with Toad, who will be very item based, and represent the Mario Party and Mario Kart aspects of Mario. How he plays will probably be made unique next round, just because I don't want my fun ideas to all come out in one round.

I believe you misunderstood the meaning of what I meant, I was not going to put an emphasis on my return, just let it be another sweet day it the runs of the game. . . . at least till it becomes bitter fast.

there's no need to worry about my habits, for as long as the hands of time haven't stopped, i'll continue to douse this dark nectar for it to return to my life.

1- of course she does, probably. granted, it doesnt just come down to 'the top 55 characters of nintendo,' because that would be 80 percent mario and pokemon
2- well, it is the same reason charizard got in after the reveal, sheik got separated by most (yet in over impa), etc. Sometimes what we see and hear being done/ may be done, affects the rostering/voting

I can't help but feel as if the Zoroark think counts as a Jigglypuff cut because it's not really Jigglypuff...
