It's a tie between @ The_Sheik and @ The Light Music Club because Gardevior and Donbe/ Hikari are too big of risks (and more but the rest of it's irrelevant). I'll just flip a coin.

Voted Josh because his roster only has 12 series. However, I was thinking about Bindingblade or SmasherMaster because I think adding more than two of Palutena, King K, Ridley, and Shulk is way too safe.

@ Depressed Gengar yeah I understand. I thought they might be risky. I wanted a retro newcomer, and they also would allow me to add Ice Climbers much later.

It's bad because at this point you should have more than that. We are getting close, to melee's size roster (if not already there) so you should have around 16 at least. I think most of us already have around 18.

This round did a lot for other rosters, in my opinion. Clearly I like representation of many series', which is ironic as I think the game could have seven reps from Mario and Pokemon if it breaches fifty

That's debatable. At least Donbe and Hikari got a trophy in melee. Takumaru and Muddy didn't. All of them have some level of following to be playable, and all of them have threads here.

That said, still comparing Donbe/ Hikari to Takamaru, Lip, Mach Rider, Muddy, and others, it's pretty obvious who has more popularity.
Besides, the "Trophy" argument is invalid. Diddy had no trophy in Melee, and yet he was playable in Brawl.

Even though I wasn't even considering him before, I can't get passed the fact that Josh Bones has Blue Toad, Bandana Dee, and Waluigi on his roster...
I understand why you have Waluigi, and that if you didn't, you'd be out, but I just think... it isn't the best roster...
I think you could have done better with what you were working with.

There were four rosters that I considered voting for:

Chase: I don't think Star Fox, Kid Icarus, and Fire Emblem should all be given more than Kirby. I also don't think Krystal should be added before either of the two Star Fox veterans.
SmasherMaster: Seems...kind of safe. I don't think he has any retros either.
The_Sheik: I think there are better choices for Pokemon out there than Gardevoir.
josh bones: I don't like how you only have twelve franchises represented on a thirty character roster. I also don't think Toad and Bandana Dee should be added over Peach and Meta Knight.

My vote ended up being between Chase and josh and in the end I decided to vote for josh.

I voted for josh bones for the previously mentioned reasons- Toad over Peach, Bandana Dee over Meta knight, too few series represented, Waluigi over a lot of characters.

I liked all the rosters this round, and I even think Josh Bones has the potential for a good roster, but I just like Waluigi the least. Him as a choice, not who he happened to get on the roster before another character was my reason for voting him out.

Before Falco and Wolf got in Smash, they didn't really stand out among the Starfox cast...
Krystal has been a fan-favorite since her debut.
So while it doesn't make much sense now... It at least used to.
Blue Toad isn't really significant compared to Peach, Standard Toad, Rosalina, Bowser Jr, and Paper Mario
But Waluigi and Bandana Dee are probably why you're getting votes.

back in melee, there was only Falco and Wolf, Krystal didn't even exist back then, they weren't popular or loud, but they were all that was there.

in brawl was different there was wolf and Krystal, thanks to the boisterous and load support for Krystal it wasn't hard to think that she was more popular, but in truth wolf actually was, their supporters was just more silent compared to the upbeat of Krystal supporters

Fairly diverse voting this round.
I voted for shortie, for a couple reasons. The first being that both Ridley and K. Rool are present before Bowser. Having both Palutena before Peach and Zelda doesn't sit right either. Despite obvious differences, I think having both the Mii and Villager this early on is a bit redundant. And as much as I like Wonder Red, I can't help but feel the time isn't right for him just yet.

Also, this goes for a few rosters. Why Jigglypuff? The only reason we'd be considering her is because of Smash Bros, and it seems odd to put her in over Charizard, Mewtwo, Meowth, or Lucario.
