Fairly diverse voting this round.
I voted for shortie, for a couple reasons. The first being that both Ridley and K. Rool are present before Bowser. Having both Palutena before Peach and Zelda doesn't sit right either. Despite obvious differences, I think having both the Mii and Villager this early on is a bit redundant. And as much as I like Wonder Red, I can't help but feel the time isn't right for him just yet.

Also, this goes for a few rosters. Why Jigglypuff? The only reason we'd be considering her is because of Smash Bros, and it seems odd to put her in over Charizard, Mewtwo, Meowth, or Lucario.

@ The_Sheik added Jigglypuff just because she thinks Jigglypuffis cute. She is going to add Charizard and Mewtwo later, don't worry.

THERE IS GOING TO BE SOME CHARACTERS MISSING. Next round, when we hit 30 - 35 slots, missing Peach / Dedede / Bowser should matter more, but not now.

Edit : Added Luigi, Peach, Diddy Kong, Sheik, Ganondorf, Meta Knight, Falco, Charizard, Lucario and Ike. Gonna update my roster in a moment.

I had a really tough time picking between three characters. Oh, and Mr. G and W wasn't visible w/o the white so I kept it:

The characters I had a tough time leaving out were Lucas and Ike. Ike was in the roster, but I removed him since I didn't want three Fire Emblem characters. I left Lucas out so I could have Pokemon match Mario.

Peach- Important Character and needed to be in with me having so many females already.
Wario- Another series, and an important character.
Gannondorf- Last missing important Bad guy out of the main four series.
Metaknight- One of the more important vets to have
Diddy- Well I plan on adding King K, but DK needs another character this far into the game
Charizard- Pokemon needed to tie Mario, and he is more important Jiggs
Lucario- Same as above
Game and Watch- Important Retro, and I feel he's more needed than R.O.B.
Falco- In Melee, Starfox had two characters, with 35 in this roster, it's needed
Wii Fit Trainer- Another Series, and more recent character. Also adds a unique move set and another female.

Honorable mentions are Lucas and Ike.

Ice Climbers: Wanted a second retro now.
Ike: Wanted two Fire Emblem characters.

Perfect round for me, I will be required a few characters:

That makes six. The final four are all about how I want to play with numbers.

I think I would prefer Impa over Sheik, so.... no Zelda.
Which makes no Pokemon easier.
So no second reps probably.

Ice Climbers are just adored by me, so... they are in. That makes seven

Well... adding too many more solo series would mean I should add another to Metroid. And then maybe starfox and... fire emblem. But then Kirby should be three. and DK. And Pokemon and Zelda four.
Im still not sure if I will Include zero suit, since I dont know if I will have Toon.

I think I will throw caution to the wind and stop analyzing.

Wii Fit Trainer helps balance some missing pieces. Eight.
Metaknight is just awesome, and Kirby could easily be at three, too. Nine.

Who will ten be?
I guess.... a pokemon. Lucario, Jigglypuff, Greninja, Squirtle, Ivysaur, Charizard, and Pichu are my options.

I think they are fun; I just also thought Italian Dinosaur made no sense for Yoshi (?) and doubt if it was him or not.
