The site Smash World Forums was created in 1999 just after the release of the original SSB. The forums we are currently using, on the other hand, were created August 21st, 2000. That means that we are less than a month away from our 10 year anniversary.

Personally I think it'd dumb but it's not my choice.

The truth is that ever since this thread was made, regular have come here and given incorrect answers. To make sure this doesn't happen, we can't allow anyone to help out. It doesn't matter how simple questions are because we can't have a rule that says "Regular users may answer if and only if the question is blah blah".

The actual rule [we'd like to have] is very simple: don't answer a question unless you're right. This may not necessarily be when you think you're right.

The reason is that incorrect answers cause more work for the people who actually have to answer questions, since they not only have to provide the right answer, but they also have to correct the wrong answer. This may not seem like a big deal, but when people are regularly providing incorrect or incomplete answers, it becomes frustrating.

Around 7 or 8 months ago I got 2nd place in an AWYP contest(should've gotten first... everyone knows the one named Frown stinks at photography ). Since then I've taken a halfyear hiatus.
