Nintendo Assist Trophy: Kecleon (Pokémon Mystery Dungeon)

Kecleon will set up shop in the area he was summoned, causing items to spawn around him. However, if a fighter other than the one who summoned him takes one of those items, Kecleon will pursue the thief furiously, causing heavy damage if he catches up to them.

Not sure if this is a valid Assist Trophy submission, considering that the Pokémon series already has its own dedicated assist item (the Pokéball), but I wanted to provide some representation for one of the more prominent Pokémon spinoffs, and I figured that the nature of said spinoff (namely that it takes place in a world where Pokémon are the dominant species, humans don't appear as themselves but are transformed into Pokémon, and Pokéballs don't seem to exist outside of the Pokémon based on them) made the assist more suited for the Assist Trophy item than the Pokéball item.

As for Subspace pairings, I've got a few ideas...

• Pokémon Trainer initially mistakes Yoshi for a Pokémon and tries to catch him, resulting in a battle. Afterward, the Trainer apologizes for his mistake and the two team up.
• Wolf takes over the role Wario originally had, while Wario is relegated to his normal role as an anti-hero who only gets involved in the conflict due to it interfering with his pursuit of riches.
  • Fox would battle Wolf at some point, and Mario could also battle Wario at some point as well.
• The team up between Captain Falcon and Olimar happens exactly like it did in the original Subspace Emissary. Falcon accidentally wiping out Olimar's Pikmin squad and everything.
  • In fact, the "Isle of Ancients" team up between Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, Captain Falcon, Olimar, Samus, and Pikachu eventually happens like in canon, with Fox being the one to transport Diddy instead of Falco should the latter not be playable.
• Similarly, King Dedede maintains the role he originally had in Subspace Emissary, as a seemingly antagonistic force who's actually making preparations to fight the true enemy, with Luigi being one of the fighters he specifically seeks out for that purpose.
• Mario and Luigi team up or at least interact with each other at some point during the story, showcasing the brotherly love they have for each other.

As for Subspace im not even sure where to start, i think the story was fine but would maybe change locals from generic to actual iconic gaming locations. Aside from that I would try to swap around roles for characters we dont have with new ones we do who can loosely fill the same role if that makes any sense (ex. Having Sami fill in either Falcos role for the aerial combat theme or Ikes role for an Intelligent Systems teamup + Meta Knight)

I agree with GamingFan1997 ‘s take, but I’d also have Link and Midna paired up (since Yoshi is with the Trainer); not sure what to do with Sami.

While cutscenes remain mute for the most part, as agreed on in a previous job, characters would have dialogue during the levels (though I’d limit it to Snake, Falcon, Meta Knight, etc), similar to Kid Icarus Uprising and the Star Fox games.

This is going to be controversial, but I’m going to nominate King K. Rool here. Some of his attacks would be based on his Ultimate moveset. As references to Donkey Kong Country II, he will also use the Blunderbuss to travel to opposite sides of the map, and he‘ll use shoot out different colored gases from the Blunderbuss. for different side effects.

I would choose the Wii Menu. This would be similar to Delfino Plaza where it has a base area and transitions to other areas. The base area is the base menu itself, and the platforms are the top of the channel options. The hazard at this part of the stage would be cursor, which can grab players as it moves. The stage would then transition between 3 channel previews, the Mii Channel, the game being uploaded, and the Wii Shop Channel. On the Mii Channel, Miis will walk through, which can hurt players if they come into contact. When a disk is being loaded, the players can stand on the disks, but they would be moving with the disk. At some point, a disk is inserted, and players are hurt if they are directly beneath the disk. For the wii shop channel, there would just be a dhopping bag that players can stand on.
