Considering Ghirahim's popularity is middling and his main claim to fame is being a more interesting villain than Ganondorf, I'm not sold on his chances. Like Dixie, Toon Zelda stands a solid chance of being added to this list once interview evidence points toward a more expansive roster, rather than a conservative one.

Toon Link - The nice thing about the cell shading style, is they probably wont have to update his model much at all from brawl.

I can see tingle getting in... but I just hope they do us a kindness and spare us. Skull kid might get in, its been acknowleged there is a demand for a remake... but if that news travels to sakurai I'm not sure. With a new Zelda wiiu game, and the link to the past sequel coming out, can't really say I'd predict Ghirahim without more knowledge on the new games. He might have missed his chance.

No additions. Ghirahim is a maybe, but basically just a more popular Zant. Toon Zelda, in my opinion, actually has a chance, though I don't think she holds presence over the likes of K. Rool, Ridley, Little Mac, etc.
I really want Vaati up there, but...

Don't worry, you'll get what you what - no Tingle. The Western Tingle hatebase is strong enough to prevent Tingle from appearing in any Zelda games since The Minish Cap, as well as 'spare' Europe of the second of two excellent Tingle games and North America of both of them. Therefore I'm sure it'll be enough to prevent what is by far the most significant Zelda character in the series besides the main trio from being playable in SSB4.

Sakurai is careful about over-representing his own series, and adding any more Kirby characters would be over-representing it. There's no hugely obvious or wanted potential fourth character for Kirby anyway.

Bandanna Dee is a fun character conceptually, but I think he crosses the line between "worthy character" and "representative for the sake of representation." Because of this, I'm sticking with the characters who "completed the series," at least up until Return to Dreamland released.

Sakurai is careful about over-representing his own series, and adding any more Kirby characters would be over-representing it. There's no hugely obvious or wanted potential fourth character for Kirby anyway.

I'm not a fan of how many people believe adding one more character could over represent any series, besides like Gyromite, IC, and G&W. Even Pikmin would be fine with another character.

That being said though, betting on:
