For those who have been keeping track of the pre-release videos, we pretty much have a clear idea that there will be as many as 140 challenges to complete. And unlike in Smash 3DS, there are going to be some challenges that will really test your limits.
Additionally, there's apparently a maximum of five Golden Hammers that you can collect, but because the number of hard challenges will outnumber the Golden Hammers, you will have no choice but to do a portion of them, especially if they're Golden Hammer immune. The following are just a couple challenges that you'll have to keep in mind...
Anyway, it's clearly no joke that Smash Wii U's challenges are going to push you to your limits even more than what Smash 3DS offered. As a result, you're going to have to be very careful with how you'll use your Golden Hammers.
Additionally, there's apparently a maximum of five Golden Hammers that you can collect, but because the number of hard challenges will outnumber the Golden Hammers, you will have no choice but to do a portion of them, especially if they're Golden Hammer immune. The following are just a couple challenges that you'll have to keep in mind...
- Clear the true Solo All-Star mode on hard while playing as Duck Hunt.
- Clear the true Solo All-Star mode within 6 minutes while playing as Shulk.
- Clear the true All-Star mode on normal difficulty or higher without using healing items.
- Get a chain of at least 100 in Trophy Rush without taking any damage while playing alone and as Samus.
- Clear the true Solo All-Star mode on hard while playing as Ike.
- Play Solo Cruel Smash as Luigi and survive for 1 minute.
- Clear the true All-Star mode on hard difficulty.
- Clear Classic at intensity 8.0 with 2 or more characters.
- Clear Solo Classic at intensity 5.5 or higher, playing as Wario without any customizations.
- Clear Solo Classic on intensity 5.5 or higher while playing as Kirby.
- Hit Sandbag between 1640 and 1656 ft. in Home-Run Contest.
- Clear Classic at Intensity 5.5 or higher.
