Neither opponent sees the other choose their character.Sorry if this is a noob question, but this will be my first tournament ever. What does "double-blind" mean?

It's a pretty fun puzzle game. I've played the PC demo of it before.I am in for this tournament and I don't even know wtf Puzzle Quest is.
There are literally hundreds left!im in too if any spots left
True, but it shouldn't be that bad (especially because Olimar has a high learning curve). Not happy.
Skyworld should be banned because it's broken against Olimar.
Not sure about the first question, but as for the stages, just use the legal stages you already have for it.I'm really stoked about this, this will bring back memories of when i would play LAN MK:DD on Warp Pipe.
I have two question: can I play on my friend's wii (wii are both signed up for this tourney)?
Secondly, how will stages work out if we don't have all of them.
Neither can I!i signed up CAn't wait till the 29th!
Why was Pictochat banned in the competitive open o.o; It's a great stage. So, I see the stage bannings are listed.
How do you ban jungle japes but allow stages like Pictochat and Norfair? Pictochat is one of the only stages that's banned in the competitive open, and jungle japes was tournament legal in Melee. And then there's the matter of Onett and the other walk-off edges, which are easy to camp and for some characters to chain-throw out of. Flat Zone 2 is banned, and I doubt it's because of the flying meat. All I'm really saying is, there should be a matter of consistency in the stage banning.
it is when you and your oppenent pick characters without knowing the others so you can't counter pickWhat does double-blind character selection mean?
