Sonicman deserved better than Sonic 06.

Sonic 06 was a result of people using pseudo-OCD trying to push it out on the 15th anniversary rather than the 16th. I'm sure if it had another six months to a year of development (I don't recall what the original length was meant to be), it would've been solid. But that's only speculation.

I have only played like the first 5 minutes of sonic unleashed, and like one hour of sonic adventure 2. But this song is really cool and I wanna fight to it.

I don't recall Smash 4's being any different from Ultimate. Brawl on the other hand was just being dumped with newcomers because there was really nothing flashy to do about it.

People drastically overstate mimikyu's popularity. Not to say it isn't one of the more popular gen 7 pokemon, but eh.

They really don't. It lost to Rowlet by 0.10% with Primarina losing 2nd by more than 2%. I remember when it was first revealed, I saw it everywhere and people loved it immediately.

It's not body size or type. I mean... it technically has hands, it can move around, it has enough to be in a platform fighter sure, but for some reason it's just hard for me to see it implemented as a fighter over a character that is more humanoid shaped, like Decidueye (>_>)
I've always just pictured Mimkyu as a pokeball pokemon. That one-time auto counter would work then, and it could shoot off shadow balls and have it's "finisher" be "Let's Snuggle Forever".

I mean, if it were to become a fighter I'd be down for it because, as I said, one of my favorite Pokemon, but it's hard for me to imaging it being playable haha But more power to the supporters of Mimikyu. I'm not really paying attention to Pokemon newcomers to be honest cause I've got Geno to worry about

has a new final smash, the electroshock arm, different arrows and and a forward tilt that launches at a different angle (and there may be new ones, who knows).

My question is, what unique traits will have?

She's gotta have some gameplay difference, but what could they be? Did anything see anything in their trailer?

I think what's most likely is either forward smash is changed slightly, either with randomised or new rotation or even a new weapon replacing the pan, or that she has different Veggie mechanics, either she pulls different items or she pulls a completely different projectile like a carrot or a flower or something. If Peach retains Peach Blossom then I can see Daisy giving everyone a flowerhead effect instead of making them all fall asleep.

When this topic came up before, a few points were addressed, and several theories were made.
For one, unlike Lucina, Daisy doesn't have any sort of universal utensil that makes up her moveset, which means that overall, widespread changes are less likely.
Furthermore, as far as all available Daisy footage goes, there aren't any clearly detectable differences in comparison to Peach. Some people have said that it looks like Daisy's F-air hits opponents at a slightly downward angle in her character trailer, but I couldn't see the difference myself.

It's been theorized that Daisy might just have different knockback directions on her attacks, and that'll be it.

Another theory is that only the moves that involved Peach's heart effects will be different, A.K.A., Up-tilt, Up-Smash, and Side-B. This would make her a clone more on the level of Dark Pit, which would be unfortunate, but not unlikely.

Another theory is that, since we haven't seen it yet, her Down B might be slightly changed, kinda like DP's Side-B

A lot of people think that Daisy's FS will be different from Peach's, since Peach Blossom doesn't really fit Daisy. However, we have yet to see Peach's Final Smash in Ultimate, so we don't even know if she'll be keeping her old one.

That's all I've seen so far. As for my personal thoughts, I think I'm just gonna wait and see what happens.

Daisy swipes twice in her rainbow up-air rather than once.

Peach's up-air already does that though.

People overstate Decidueye's popularity. Show me an official poll with him on it then say that again.

You can argue Mimikyu isn't as popular in the US and Decidueye is but there isn't any solid proof of that. Even if that were an argument, and yes I have been waiting for it, Ridley was chosen specifically for Western fans, I wouldn't expect a second character to be extended that courtesy for this game.

Decidueye obviously still is in the Top 4 most likely Pokemon newcomers in my opinion, I seriously doubt Rowlet, but he isn't nearly as much of a guarantee as Smashboards, Reddit, and 4chan like to think it is.

This, when Gen 7 was first revealed Rowlet was THE crowd favorite right out the gate and has consistently been the most popular Gen 7 mon in both polls and merch sales since it's introduction. If we're getting a Gen 7 mon I'd vastly prefer something from the Rowlet line over Mimikyu if only because they'd be much more visually distinct. I kind of get the argument that Mimikyu would be a cool ghostmon but types don't seem to matter too much in Smash, I mean has Lucario done anything related to Steel, or Ivysaur do anything poison? If Mimikyu got in Smash, I see it mostly just slashing with it's hand...things rather than phasing in and out of reality like an actual ghost, and at that point I'd just go for the Owl.
I'd kill for Silvally but he's NEVER EVER ;_;

Mimikyu and Rowlet weren't revealed at the same time so the comparison isn't exactly fair. Mimikyu was also met with very high popularity from the beginning too. (It got a song for crying out loud...)

Also, the project plan thing doesn't really have a point against Mimikyu either. It was very clearly meant to be marketed from the get go much like Rowlet, Lycanroc, and Decidueye. If a Greninja situation happened I would bet money Mimikyu was one of the three picks.

Oh I agree completely. December 2015 is wayyy to early for popularity to have any influence unless they did the whole "insert Gen 7 Pokemon here" thing and waited. The only thing we have to go on is which Pokemon is currently being pushed.

Palossand is like my third favorite Alolamon but I can't see it being anything more than a Pokeball.
I'd love to see how it'd work in Smash though.
