I do think he's a solidly strong character but remember the whining about him being OP a bit after the game came out lmao people compared him to Sm4sh Bayo

As someone who plays him right alongside Inkling, he's still combo food for fast characters and suffers from crazy endlag.

He ain't bad, but he was definitely overhyped.

he's a nightmare for casual players. if you select him then they will legitimately freeze up and try to swallow their own controllers to avoid the fight.
"Just pick a belmont and outrange him," I say for it to only fall on deaf ears
I chime in once again, "why not pick DK? he can punish KRool pretty decently" but to no avail, as this person has now removed all of their clothing and began to practice orthodox mormonism. It's too late.

Oh K.Rool is without a doubt the character you play if you want to turn you brain off similar to Little Mac (I shouldn't be rewarded for flicking the **** out of the c stick all the time) but hell nah he is NOT good

well tbf the roller isn't the only reason people found Inklings frustrating. Not to mention top players complained about Inkling too but not K.Rool.

lmao last week I pissed off a friend of mine who mains K.Rool so goddamn much with Belmonts he started ranting with tranquil fury. I was laughing so much I cried for the next 10 minutes and he STILL couldn't get rid of my second stock

Hmmm. Slow as **** combo fodder who loses to both zoning and rushdown? Doesn't sound like a top tier to me

K. Rool is like Smash 4 Bowser. He's good a point, and will heavily punish you for whiffing/bad plays, but he has weaknesses you can take advantage of if your character has tools to juggle him or weaken his zoning play.

He's around high-mid in my opinion. I don't think he needs any nerfs until we gather more data. Then again that goes for every character.

Online confusing down B and Up B for neutral B doesn't help.

You won't get rewarded for flicking the C-Stick all the time because that's not how you play a good K. Rool. The character's only mindless if you're playing that way, which can be said for every character.

I still stand by Roller is a slippery slope. Nerf it too much and it's useless. I feel it's fine how it is right now, as there are plenty of ways to punish and read it. If you get caught, it's on you for not getting the read.

Yeah, he's a very strong character with weaknesses as well. A perfect Smash fighter.

Any well phrased advise for me? People always say: "Just punish!"

Alot of characters beat him. Chrom and Inkling punish him pretty easy. Belmonts and Samus outrange him. Jigglypuff can punish everything he does if you play lame. He really can't do much about reflectors. His approach options are only okay, and his dash attack is straight up awful. he doesn't have too much he can do in Neutral besides throw out projectiles and then run and and so stupid stuff.

He has a lot of perks and I think he's the second best heavy in the game, but he isn't OP or top tier

Combo that **** and don't be scared of his belly armor it breaks fairly easily. If they abuse it then it's a free kill for you. Side gimp his recovery but DON'T STAGE SPIKE unless you're sure they can't tech since if they do they can get a solid bair spike on you easily

We aren't friends if you're gonna say Bowser is the best superheavy. I don't know **** about Dedede or DK this game but Bowser looks real good to me

For Ivysaur? Honestly, not much ivysaur can to tbh. The other two Pokemon have good options, but Ivysaurs mediocre speed combined with a projectile that's only decent doesn't do much in that match up. As ivysaur, you pretty much will always be in range of K rools projectiles and you don't have too many punish options. My only advice would be to space out with fair and bair until you get a hit, then follow up. Or switch to squirtle, who can carry K Rool off stage and edgegaurd him pretty well.

I wouldn’t say Shantae is worthless. I don’t think she’s big enough to be in Smash just yet, but she’s not worthless.

Rayman on the other hand is a stellar pick and should be in the game before any indie pick, in my humble opinion.
