Huge red flags: F Zero game.... F zero seems to be dead for too long now. I cant ever see a revival of it. Another Pokken tournament game? I just can't see that happening at all unless it's a complete port of DX. Splatoon on DS? Eh ok ..... he says 3ds is not the focus but lists so many 3DS games. Symphonia, FF VII coming to DS could happen but it's surprising that they would also make a switch version of Symphonia like this guy claims.
POKEMON.... yeah pokemon has stupid titles usually or weird ones but Dark past and Bright future? Okay I mean we got pokemon titles called X and Y so it's not out of the realm of possibilities... but if it's being kept heavily under wraps then I can't see this guy knowing even the titles.

Alright, time to revisit this because I didn't give this any justice. We already established that Game Freak is terrible when it comes to names, so that's one bird stoned and done. As for F-Zero, the only way it could happen is if they create a budget title that sells for way less than the standard Triple AAA First-Party Switch game. Think Sonic Mania and Mega Man 11 here, where the prices are modest for the content you're getting. Other than that, F-Zero's a dead ringer for totally fake. How many of these leaks put the Captain's game in them and ever came true? Not one, that's what.

Splatoon's an interesting one because it sounds kinda like a Contra clone. I can see Nintendo implement ideas from HAL Labratory and Good-Feel, where you can use the ink system to solve puzzles, not just deal with mooks. Pikimin on 3DS did it, so this one isn't as farfetched as it seems. I also believe that the phrasing behind the 3DS being dead while listing off games is essentially the system's swan song. They want to sell whatever's left selling so they can move on, but this is assuming this guy is legit. Fake or not, we need to think of the variables here.

Real stuff in this leak IMO: Xenosaga trilogy coming to switch. Last year in April Namco Bandai redid their trademark for Xenosaga Episode III which somewhat hinted at a revival of the series. We got KOS-MOS and T-elos both in Xenoblade 2 so those have to be hints! We already know Persona 5 R is happening but this could be piggybacking. The witcher 3 coming to switch could be possible as Mass effect 3 did go to Wii U..... ALSO.... Soulcalibur VI has been heavily rumoured for switch by Vergeben but it appeared to be false information at first. I can still see it coming to switch though FOR SURE.

I always found it weird how it's Episode III specifically. Is there something important about that entry that spells the whole entire trilogy as opposed to, say Episodes I & II being included? Here's a crazy theory: Episode III's trademark is renewed because Namco plans to propose KOS-MOS Ver. 4 to Sakurai. Ahaha...ha... ;-; J-jokes aside, I'm surprised this leaker didn't mention anything about NieR: Automata. We're supposedly getting Soulcalibur VI ported as well as The Witcher 3, but what about 2B and her game? What do all of the last three games I mentioned have in common? They're all in Soul Calibur. Persona 5, I get, but it's weird seeing The Witcher and Soulcalibur in the same sentence without NieR in there. Very sus...

Smash stuff (AKA the only thing people care about) IF THIS leak is real then we can conclude the following: Xenosaga is being revived to have KOS-MOS in smash and it's the same thing with Lloyd. I can totally believe these two bits because smash promotion for KOS-MOS is something I could see coming. She's in Xenoblade 2 etc very popular with crossovers and much more. It would be a perfect gift from Sakurai to Takahashi. Of course, two namco reps is a bit of a stretch.

To be fair, Capcom, Konami, and Sega all have 3 characters each. Sega's in the best spot right now because their guest characters are all completely unique. I can totally see Pac-Man, KOS-MOS, and Lloyd share spots in the roster. Bonus points for being a red, yellow, and blue assortment of guests!

Now let us go to the real problem of this leak..... which are Geno and Fawful specifically. Fawful would be a very cool fighter but we literally got a dlc mario character in Piranha plant already..... and we are supposed to believe Geno is coming too? Two mario characters... one being from SE and two Namco? Things are sounding fishy as hell in the smash part of this leak. The reason I say this is because of the Erdrick rumours we know of. Right now i'm pretty convinced Geno is out as he's a spirit and the SE list rumours, etc. If by chance this turns out being true i'd be super ecstatic though. Hell, if KOS-MOS doesnt make it and I get Xenosaga HD... I'd be a very happy person the same. More seasons is something I can see happen for sure.

Any leak with Geno on it is especially dubious to me. I'm in that gray area where I would love to have him playable as he seems like a cool character from an observer's perspective, but there is so much going against him that I feel the need to be cautious about that sort of info. This technically means three Mario characters in the Fighter's Pass. As weird as that sounds, that's three first-party characters if you want to count Piranha Plant. Pfft, at the end of it all, who cares? If it's true, we still get KOS-MOS. Lloyd, Joker, and the other 3 are essentially bonuses. I'd take my chances.

Ugh, Shulk still plays like he's got bricks attached to his feet.

This Monoado Roulette, while better than the button mashing, just replaces its inconvenience with a whole nother kind.

I kinda like Shulk in this game. He actually feels way faster, and his nair feels great.

Pokemon Past and Future? Silly, but something Gamefreak might do.

It's not like Pokémon hasn't dabbled in "Past and Future" themes before (White Forest and Black City), but still those name are kind of... uh...

I can see it, sort of.

The new Pokémon games are obviously going to be "Pokémon Town and City".

Yeah, I know. I've played Black & White and they each play with those ideas, albeit subtly. When you claim that the 8th generation plays the time-traveling trope straight, you're banking on Game Freak's tendency to jump the Sharpedo with every new entry. Gen 6 gave us Mega Evolutions and Gen 7 gave us a canon, confirmed Multiverse Theory (which is Poképhysics at this point as it's not really a theoretical in-universe). Even weirder? We're talking about Hawaiian Gods, on four isolated islands, treated like a region, with an organization led by the whitest Alolan in the Pokéverse, with ties to other dimensions where Out-Of-Context problems invade Alola and its wild life. Yeah, Pokemon's always been JoJo's Bizarre Adventure for kids.

Wario hasn't worn his classic suit in any of his games for a whole decade. Makes you wonder why he doesn't dress in biker gear for any of the new party games.

Topsy Turvy: Never played it, but I am aware of how the game operates and it doesn't seem all that bad. Plus it introduced some new Yoshi exclusive characters and gave him some gravity bending feats...
Touch 'n Go: Fine for the most part, but hardly a game. This sort of game would've killed it in 1985 but not 2005.
Yoshi's Island DS: MUUCCCH better than everyone claims it to be!!! I actually recommend playing this game, but not if you played the original immediately before...
Yoshi's New Island: Mediocre and lifeless. Eggdozer is pretty neat though

So yeah, there's really only one or two "bad or meh" games in that period...

I've dreamed of a combo based, action platformer similar to games like Dust and Muramasa: the Demon Blade staring Waro Man for years. It's my number one dream game. Combo based combat mixed with Wario Land's platforming and treasure collecting. You could even play as characters like Jimmy or Ashley.

I have Topsy Turvy (or Universal Gravitation as it's called here) and I honestly don't think it's good. The game often requires tilting in such a way that it jut doesn't work and tries to throw in some mission based stuff that just becomes annoying. The exclusive characters are mostly forgettable and they pretty much have been.
I agree with Yoshi's Island DS. One of my favourite DS games and tbh, I enjoy it more than the original.

When you're an artist and a writer and you get both at the same time? It's almost depressing.

I'm trying to write a crossover story for Persona and Shin Megami Tensei, where Kazuya, Aleph, Demi-fiend, Flynn, SEES, The Investigation Team, and The Phantom Thieves get brought into this alternate dimension where Tokyo is destroyed (shocker) and has been replaced with a ruthless society trapped in a civil war. But so far, it's been a pain.

So usually I dont really humour these leaks especially when they have Geno and such but let's just talk about it for fun. It's probably not real as the guy knows far too much but he seems certain that the first thing Nintendo reveals will be correct so let's humour it for a bit XD

There are a few things in this leak I can totally see happening but some things are way off the rails.

So for starters it's a Nintendo leak for 2019 and it has all the contents of the fighting pass among various other titles.

3DS
>If you can't tell, Nintendo is not really focusing on the 3DS anymore. Very few new 3DS games are to be released.
>Pokken Tournament 3D will be released in mid 2019. Downgraded visuals but pretty much all the same content as Pokken Tournament DX for Switch. New 3DS exclusive. No online support.
>Splatoon: Squid Ops is a 2.5D Splatoon game to be released in 2019, and the last first party Nintendo game on 3DS. It's a side scroller with an emphasis on single player, but it will have multiplayer features as well. Also coming to Switch as a budget downloadable title. No online support on 3DS, but yes on Switch.
>Other titles coming to 3DS in 2019 from other publishers: Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy IX, and Tales of Symphonia (also coming to Switch). Also a bunch of indie games and shovelware that nobody cares about. 2019 is the end of 3DS basically.

I truly wish there was more Wario Land content in Smash. It may not seem like it with how much I talk about Splatoon, but Wario is my favorite video game character.

I remember feeling so happy back in Smash Wii U when I saw Stone Carving City on Gamer. And when I saw the shoulder tackle in Ultimate, I was overjoyed! It's not as cool as Project M's Wario love, but it'll do.

Nah, no offense intended, Zinith, I just want a new Wario Land or Wario World title.
As for the Yoshi series not having the best reception I once again mean no offense, I simply mean that when people talk about it, they're usually referring to Yoshi's Island for the SNES or GBA, Yoshi's Story for the N64 Yoshi's Woolly World for the Wii U, or the upcoming Yoshi's Crafted World. Not very many people walk about Yoshi's Island DS, Yoshi's Island 2, Yoshi's Topsy Turvy, or Yoshi's Touch & Go.
Once in a while you'll have someone talk about the Puzzle Game Yoshi, Yoshi's Cookie, Tetris Attack, or Yoshi's Safari, but its mostly the 3 games I listed that people talk about.
