Almost one month has passed since release. In retrospect....

  • This is by far the best Smash ever. Like, I don't even know how they will top this.

  • Pretty freakin' good; I have a few qualms over things like internet play, balancing issues, etc.

  • It's ok, but [insert Smash game here] is better.

  • I'd rather play Parcheesi.

I don't think they're following it up with Poochy, but to say he won't be DLC at all is coocoo crazy because none of us determine the endgame possibilities.

I mean ultimately it comes down to that but you can speculate by questioning their motives and reasons why they would choose a character.

Nintendo is not a mindless entity that chooses random characters.

You said Mystery Dungeons has no content in Smash yourself. Not what I'd call notable, to be honest.

Ok, here's why I think Porky's missing Spirit is very suspicious. The big 3 when it comes to missing spirits are Porky, Poochy, and Sylux.

However, Poochy and Sylux could just be promotional Spirits. Nintendo can release Spirits to promote games, as we've seen this with the Partner Pikachu and Eevee Spirits. Porky has nothing to promote. Porky was a boss in Brawl, and is an antagonist for Earthbound and Mother 3. To see a big figure in the franchise suddenly not show up at all, not even as a PNG to use online is very fishy.

They followed up Mewtwo with Lucas, and ended off with another niche pick with Bayonetta.

Again, Nintendo do what they want. There's nothing that says that every DLC character will be bigger than the last one, and before anyone says it; yes, I'm aware of what Reggie said, and of course he's going to say they'll be big. He's trying to sell a product. He talked about Piranha Plant being like Joker in terms of surprise as well, so who knows what'll happen.

Today, Me gave myself the gift of oxygen.
Me was an a budget though, so he could only get bootleg oxygen from this weird store I’ve never heard of. Oh well.

I got the missing amiibo to my Splatoon amiibo collection!

Oh, and I got Let's Go Eevee along with DKC: TF and Katamari Damacy Reroll.

I'm thinking I'm gonna name my Eevee Sans.

Nah I don't think so. Don't have a reason for thinking that way but it feels like pokemon =/= a pokemon trainer.

To be honest if they didn't offer Piranha Plant for free I think a ton of us would still buy it as DLC. A lot of polls showed that the people who weren't excited for the plant were actually just a very vocal minority. As it turns out, most of the fanbase doesn't get way too emotionally invested in character picks and the people screaming about Isabelle or PP are just a small handful of the actual fans.

Yeah they are offering him for free, but I think that's more to do with them trying to replicate the old Mewtwo deal then them thinking he wouldn't sell. Unless you guys think Mewtwo wouldn't have sold either.

Yeah, they got fighter spirits. You don't actually get the trainer's spirit for clearing classic mode, instead you get Squirtle, Ivysaur and Charizard spirits all at once.

Not that I take spirits seriously as "deconfirmations" at all. Although I'd say Cynthia's chances are still pretty :083:. I can't imagine them doing the Pokemon Trainer gimmick a second time, especially for DLC. And even if they did they'd probably do another protagonist over a champion.
