Official Smash Ultimate Discussion

Almost one month has passed since release. In retrospect....

  • This is by far the best Smash ever. Like, I don't even know how they will top this.

  • Pretty freakin' good; I have a few qualms over things like internet play, balancing issues, etc.

  • It's ok, but [insert Smash game here] is better.

  • I'd rather play Parcheesi.

Ridley's Down B is incredibly underrated considering how many setups you can do for it and just get, like, literally 60% damage.

Also, World of Light is the best adventure mode Smash has ever had and none of you can prove me wrong.

If World of Light had half the length and maybe a few more bosses I might agree. Speaking of, I also beat it
Worlf of Dark is a LOT more compact and it's honestly great and the final world is a bit tedious cause of the gimmick but getting the true ending is ****ing amazing amd hype as hell

I wish that we had a Pokémon and Metroid boss too.

Honestly just bring Rayquaza back but make him two-phase like Dracula.

Keep his first phase identical from Brawl, but then when you think he’s done he mega evolves and has an entirely new, really flashy and cool fight

With the amount of playable Pokémon in the fame I’m surprised there was no boss. FE to and extent too.


For Metroid you could just have Kraid and I’d be satisfied.

Why?

Mother Brain or Kraid would have been amazing bosses. Especially since both already in-game models.

If you think Mother Brain/Kraid are in any way comparable to Ridley... He was one of the most requested characters after E3 2006, even before we knew about Dedede, Diddy, Olimar, and others. He was in that league of request. Not to mention being the main villain of one of Nintendo's largest IPs in their history.

Nobody wants Mother Brain or Kraid playable because they never left the same impact or have the same importance. Having them as bosses would be great though!

tbh he's not entirely wrong as there's a huge problem with the Melee community and no other FGC community is as entitled. Unless you can get me a community that has acted similar, Melee DID have the whole Apex thing where they chanted "Melee! Melee!" IMMEDIATELY when Zero won Smash 4 finals and at another tournament they threw a fit with Guilty Gear Xrd players because Xrd may have cut in to Melee time and they refused to act mature about it.


TLDR: Salem's kinda right but it took a while for him to get his thoughts out there rationally to make them actual points

He's depressing me too much with what he's saying. I just want him to stop making himself a meme for his own sake.

I can't tell if I agree with his arguments, but his image isn't looking good.
