sora literally only works in a game with disney characters and they blatantly wouldn't be able to get any for smash bros. they'd have to focus on the ocs which is like the worst part of the series

I don't care for Sora, but I won't regret my purchase of the pass if he does happen.

Because ultimately he might be fun to play as. Kinda like how I have no love for Incineroar, but I think he's great fun to play as.

Probably because, unlike Goku, Sora's a character that originated in a video game. His ownership seems to complicate things (the copyright information at the start of every single Kingdom Hearts game strongly implies that he's owned by Disney, though I've seen conflicting reports on that), but he's certainly not a Goku-level request. He's the main character from a major video game franchise; it's not like people are saying that Vexen or Donald should make it in to represent Kingdom Hearts.

Also, saying that "Sora only works in a game with Disney characters" seems like a rather arbitrary limitation at best.

I don't think Sora will make it in (as far as I can tell, he's owned by Disney, and if Marvel games are any indication, they don't play well with others when it comes to licensing their characters), but saying that "he literally doesn't need to be in Smash Bros." or that you'd refuse to buy the rest of the DLC, regardless of who it is, if he's included seems excessive to say the least.
