Funny how all of these leakers are acting like they knew Joker was a character all along.

I'll give 'em the benefit of the doubt, but I doubt he knows the rest of the DLC, especially when he couldn't predict the very first one.

Not sure if I buy Rayman because of the whole Spirits shenanigans but it sounds a decent line up if true. No Banjo or RE rep but good enough.

Thanks, I know **** all about Granblue but it's an Arcsys game and I think I should pay attention to it as a result unless it pulls a BBTAG and disappoints me on a Xenoblade X level

My top speculatory picks for the remaining DLC Characters are Erdrick, Master Chief, Sora, and Banjo-Kazooie or Spyro. Sakurai said these would all be "must-have" characters so I don't think any of them will be characters from franchises that are already in SSB, and he said he wants characters that have unique skills sets so no echo fighters. Steve from MC would be awesome though!

Sakurai didn't say the fighters would be "must-have," it was Nintendo Treehouse's JC Rodrigo. Additionally, it's likely nothing more than PR talk, as OF COURSE the Nintendo employee is going to call their product a "must-have."

The unique skill sets claim doesn't come from anywhere I remember, but is in line with Sakurai's design philosophy so it gets a pass, and he stated echo fighters wouldn't be in the Fighters Pass in the Direct so it gets a pass as well.

I wanted to chime in on my thoughts about a Granblue rep since I've seen some talk about it here after the Versus reveal.

So it may be the unpopular opinion here.. But I prefer Katalina over Gran/Djeet. She personally seems more unique to me among that circle of protags, and even more so when compared to the swordsman characters we currently have in Smash.

I don't. But I think the characters they chose to include in their fake leak mostly have high chances of getting in. So it doesn't matter.
