So who would you guys say are the most likely characters to get announced at the Game Awards?

I think the top potential characters in alphabetical order are: Banjo-Kazooie, Dante, Doom Slayer, Erdrick, Geno, Monster Hunter, Sephiroth, Steve.

Pro tip: expect no one for minimum disappointment.

You know I’m disappointed this ominous teaser was never continued. Like I thought the E3 Direct would open with this trailer again, but have all the characters jump into the light or something. Though revealing gameplay footage was honestly wiser.

Like, I've been getting most of my past games in digital form and I kinda just want to have an actual physical collection(I've bought Fates, Shadows of Valentia, Pokemon Moon, Octopath and Fate/Extella all digital). I have a total of three physical Switch games and they are BotW, Mario Odyssey and Axiom Verge.

Say would you recommend Fate/Extella at all?

I’d be down for Edelguard regardless honestly, although after Fates I’m not getting attached to any characters until I know if they’re actually likeable or not.

Well, I doubt she had a trophy in smash 4 either. So it may just be toast for her :'^) especially considering BWD's existence

The only thing that makes it different is that we have spirits for characters like Nago, Gryll, Landia all from the Kirby series. To not include a popular character, but include obscure characters like them, is an odd choice.
I agree that Adeleine is an odd choice for DLC if she is one, but you never know

Don't know anything about her, but since she uses axes and magic she could do something different.
And Three Houses, even if there's very little to judge, does look like it'll work on Fates' mistakes.

Her outfit reminds me of Morag, so she's probably the closest thing we'll ever get to playable Morag. I'd be fine just because of that

I got BotW for my Wii U as a swan song to the console, then when I picked up my Switch I got Bomberman. Overpriced, but it felt good to play a new Bomberman with friends.

It's so funny to me that I had to explain to at least ten different people I knew that they could play BotW on Wii U, because they kept saying they wanted to play it but couldn't find a Switch in stock. Nintendo really didn't want anyone to know the Wii U version existed.

I'd be down for any FE character that is unique. As bland as Corrin & especially Robin are in their home games they did do enough in Smash that make them fun to play as. Cut Lucina & Chrom and people will shut up about representation (though almost immediately people will also ask for them back).

I'd prefer to know if Three Houses is actually a good game before I feel excited about a potential rep.

Crash Bandicoot in Smash gets more likely each day.

What is making it more likely? The fact that he doesn't have a spirit?- That hasn't changed, so he still has the same % chance. He's more likely than he was a year ago because of the port, of course. I just don't know if it's smart to keep repeating that mantra when no revelations about him are occuring. Are you just trying to get people hyped up about him? If so, that's totally fine! But I hope you're not convincing yourself he's actually more likely when nothing is affecting his chances right now.

Lord knows, if Capcom actually grew some sense and opted to get Phoenix Wright into Smash, the boost to his popularity would hopefully get them to finally localize that stuff!

I went to a tournament in Houston at a college and it was a big event but all inside one college room. I walked in and the entire room smelt terrible, and it felt like sweat was literally in the air. I asked around about it, like specifically if anyone else thought it smelled bad, but NO ONE had a issue with the smell and I was practically dying. I had to exit in the room and go in the hall way, but that wasn't enough being near the door the smell remained so I had to walk further down the hall to save my precious nose from the stench.

I'm not going to be upset if my dreams aren't in since I'm not really expecting one of them but I will also be super super super hyped if one of them is in

Mainly because it’s a general gaming event and not a Nintendo focused event.

3rd Party characters would be more fitting for a Game Awards announcement rather than a Nintendo Direct.

Both Mega Man and Pac-Man were revealed at E3, so a 3rd Party reveal at the VGAs isn’t too unrealistic IMO.

I have no idea. I went to a tournament one time after my usual routine and someone came up to me and sniffed me and went "WOW you smell good, what a rarity".
