Mine is Morag Ladair from Xenoblade 2, she's so ****ing cool and my favorite party member because of that. She would be hella cool and have a very interesting moveset! However, she's also a side character from a game that doesn't even have it's main character in Smash yet lol. And she's FAAAAR from the most popular side character (that goes to Nia). Jin or Malos from the same game would also be super sick

Though those three are popular names amongst the Smash community, I wouldn't say they "deserve" to be in Smash. I don't think any character "deserves" to be in, because saying they do is like saying they're more important than other characters. I think all videogame characters are equal and no one character "deserves" a spot over another. I get why you say they "deserve" it, since they've been highly requested characters for a long time, but who's to say that they "deserve" it more than characters like Steve or Sephiroth or Yuri? All I'm saying is that saying one character "deserves" it more than another is entirely subjective and kind of biased. Not that there's anything wrong with wanting these characters, it's just kind of cliché to say a character "deserves" to get in. I hope this doesn't seem rude, I'm simply giving my opinion on the whole "deserves" thing

Master Chief or any Valve Character, I'd say Travis Touchdown but with someone like Gordon Freeman or the Chief you'd have a lot to work with for potential movesets, music, stages, etc.

At this point, DLC is just icing on the cake. I'm looking forward to actually playing the damn game. Most of the people clamoring for weird characters (no offense Zoe guy) I bet won't even play the game much, even if their character got in. They'd just RP anyway lol

Aegis from Persona 3. She's be a great fighter, using both her Persona and firearms. Plus Heartful Cry.

Here’s my daily obligatory post where I mention that fulgore would be cool. Lasers, invisibility, claws etc. Killer Instinct has good music. He’s not gonna get in, cause Steve and Banjo and Chief would likely take priority and are far more iconic/well-known, but I can dream.

For Xenoblade I want Lora and Jin...

But my pick is, as usual, MARINA LITEYEARS. Great N64 exclusive game. Grapple focused moveset. Tons of weapons and items that could be used in her kit. Also my number one most-wanted and biggest pipe dream of all time and it's been that way since just after Smash 64 released.

A part of me is going to love getting used to this game. I had SO many friends refused to play smash with me because I stomped them so hard.
Being good is also a curse...

DOOMguy for me, there's no realistic chance of him ever making it in, and the reason I think he won't get in isn't the reason most people think he won't.

It's not that his chance almost died. A miracle is possible and I believe in them

It's just that I'm willing to agree that he might not appear in Smash until Dragon Quest get first. In Term of JRPG it's FF/DQ/KH in that order.

And God knows if Square-Enix is willing to play ball twice.

About weird characters (or to use a better word, impossible characters), I unironically want Alley Cat in Smash but I know that it will never happen and I don't talk about it much.

It's a pretty fun game, it aged a bit but it's still very enjoyable, and there's a very good free fan remake around in case you want to try it out.
The whole game can easily be turned into a fun Smash stage similar to the Wario Ware one.

(and no, Alley Cat is not that type of "weird", I would say it's "weird" in sense that it's strange, it's a strange game definitely. It's about a black cat who does cat things and tries to survive to dog attacks, in a sort of hybrid minigame/platforming gameplay with the structure of a pinball game but without pinball gameplay).

I have a couple to be honest with you...

• Meowstic's my all time favorite Pokemon, but it's never gonna happen. Especially since Gen VI already has a rep with
• Ayumi Tachibana's been one of my most wanted for quite a bit, unfortunately, her game's Japan only, so...
• Happy Mask Salesman would be a fun character. Unfortunately he isn't even first in line when it comes to Majora's Mask characters...
• Master Chief is my second most wanted Microsoft rep only behind Steve. That being said, I ain't holding my breath... He's the mascot of the Xbox brand. I just don't see it happening...
• And of course, Katalina from Granblue... Apparently she isn't happening after all, and that's such a shame, as she would have been a fun addition...

Though for me I always saw Doomguy’s biggest problem as being western and not the guns, cause they’re not really realistic.

Vaati is among the most forgotten characters from the Zelda franchise, and he's not even a one-shot! Given that he's a wind mage, he could easily be one of the most unique and intriguing characters on the Smash roster...
