Smash Master
I still think Decidueye is the most likely choice for a Pokemon rep. If he's in though, I really hope they make him fast, unlike in Sun and Moon. A fast archer character would be a fantastic addition.

Isn't Decidueye pretty slow in S/M? His base speed is his lowest stat. I think he'd be a zoner with slightly below average speed and strong air mobility.I still think Decidueye is the most likely choice for a Pokemon rep. It's more the design. He's an archer. They're typically agile. It's a trait that makes them workable. Even if he didn't have fast running/walking speed, he still could have a fast air game. Or good dodges.Isn't Decidueye pretty slow in S/M? His base speed is his lowest stat. I think he'd be a zoner with slightly below average speed and strong air mobility.
Decidueye have a base 70 speed, so pretty average, but not what I would call slow.Isn't Decidueye pretty slow in S/M? His base speed is his lowest stat. I think he'd be a zoner with slightly below average speed and strong air mobility.
Sun and Moon came out in 2016, so would have been in development for, at a minimum, a year before hand. Zerarora probably would have been developed, or at least designed at that point. I do not think that development time frame would be what stops it from being playable
I don't have any reasoning for that, I doubt anyone really understands how Game Freak thinks. I just figure that its conception would have been before the reveal of USUM, which was the beginning of last year, meaning that it would have been on the drawing board probably around the time Smash was being planned. Then why wasn't Zeraora in Sun/Moon's data?
Not only that, but why would Zeraora be picked for Smash's roster during a time when Zeraora was supposed to be a complete secret anyway? And during a time when Marshadow would be closer to having a reveal and movie role?
Timing is bad for Zeraora.
I think Little Mac almost fits the bill personally. Just because of how much pop culture references Arcade Punch-Out and Mike Tyson's Punch-Out, I think a good chunk of people might know him.imo outside of third-parties the only all-star Smash 4 added was Villager (and Miis).
He was barely known in Japan, notably. So I'd say he really doesn't count that much.I think Little Mac almost fits the bill personally. Just because of how much pop culture references Arcade Punch-Out and Mike Tyson's Punch-Out, I think a good chunk of people might know him.
I think if he were an All-Star he would've been more than a voice in a crowd until the Wii release showed up.I think Little Mac almost fits the bill personally. I mean it's definitely a subjective term and these analyses are entirely based on our own perceptions of the characters. I think there's several who are pretty arguable and are all stars in my opinion, but the one I think is across-the-board accepted as such is Villager.I guess it all depends on how you define all star.
I guess it depends if they can get their game, go play, get the show on and get paidI guess it all depends on how you define all star.
That's not so easy when there's so much to do and so much to see.I guess it depends if they can get their game, go play, get the show on and get paid
Guys, what's wrong with taking the back street? That's not so easy when there's so much to do and so much to see.
The back street is where Minecraft Steve becomes a topic of discussion, I prefer to not go there.Guys, what's wrong with taking the back street?
You never know if you don't go.The back street is where Minecraft Steve becomes a topic of discussion, I prefer to not go there.
I'd rather be like Farquaad and go down the dragon's stomach in that scenario. You never know if you don't go.
You'll never shine if you don't glowI'd rather be like Farquaad and go down the dragon's stomach in that scenario.
How did Shrek related content find it's way back into a Smash speculation thread?I'd rather be like Farquaad and go down the dragon's stomach in that scenario.
I dunno, but I feel the ice we skate is getting pretty thin. Why do these lyrics actually work as responses?
The water's getting warm so you might as well swimI dunno, but I feel the ice we skate is getting pretty thing.
My worlds on fire, how bout yours? The water's getting warm so you might as well swim
That's the way I like it and I never get boredMy worlds on fire, how bout yours?
Hey now! You're an All Star! That's the way I like it and I never get bored
Alright well how about Shrek for Smash?Okay. That was really fun.
But I think we need to stop before the mods have collective strokes.
It'd be nice and chill for a while fighting in some deserty town with lookout towers then those dumb rock things would attack and I'd pick a different stage.Potential topic.
Dillon for Smash.
What would his stage be and how would it work?
I stopped replying because I wasn't trying to get an infraction for memeing too hard lolI am rather unsure of how to try and bring this meme train back onto the topic of Smash. Yep what a concept.
He's got a retail title since then, that's something.I stopped replying because I wasn't trying to get an infraction for memeing too hard lol
Do people think Dillon actually has a chance as playable? Due to the rather small size of that franchise, I was never really under the impression he'd be added to Smash as a playable character. I thought the Assist Trophy role was perfect for him, and his franchise hasn't really gained any ground since then to my knowledge. Just the recent announcement of another title.

I think that is mostly the thing. Dillon's franchise has been pretty much on the up and up. He has gone from eShop titles to physical releases and even though he is only on the 3DS at the moment I can't imagine a Switch game is more than a few years away.I stopped replying because I wasn't trying to get an infraction for memeing too hard lol
