Official Smash Ultimate Discussion

Almost one month has passed since release. In retrospect....

  • This is by far the best Smash ever. Like, I don't even know how they will top this.

  • Pretty freakin' good; I have a few qualms over things like internet play, balancing issues, etc.

  • It's ok, but [insert Smash game here] is better.

  • I'd rather play Parcheesi.

I think Lucina is kind of similar to Lucas:
-Both start their names with an Luc- and one of them almost end with an A
-Both of their settings are connected to destruction
-Both have fought mutated creatures that are created by a villain
-Both have lost their love ones from those said creatures
-Both in general have a rough life started as kids
-Both are banded by a limited number of unique indiviuals, both of which (Can) include a princess
-Both of their worlds have dark colored dragons
-Both fought with the ones they love (And both are reluctant to kill them at one-point with Lucina w/ Robin, and Lucas w/Claus)
-Both of their hometowns are abandoned

Both are also sword wielders who traveled back in time.

But we all know that last one has less than a zero chance of happening.

No it was definitely Corrin. People wanted Roy back, but Corrin is what broke the camel's back.

No matter how much your love for Corrin may suggest, it didn't become popular to hate on it until Corrin.

Hmm. It would make sense. I'd best rescue Pit ASAP then if it'd allow me, but something tells me he's likely a mid-part or slightly after what was shown to us already. Upon further inspection of the trailer, I noticed that the spirit level of Pit is low, but you fight 4 of them, and the difficulty is Novice. The last 2 details I didn't notice at all. So hopefully I'm right when I think he's gonna be an early character to rescue.

Nah, your right on that too. Personally, I don't really have much of a bias with Corrin at all (I'm more of a roy main nowadays). I just genuinely thought that Lucina is what made the worry of FE in the first place.

Not really, people were just mad it wasn't Chrom.

Before Corrin was ever announced, I remember grumblings about it regarding Lucina and Robin's announcement. But the full blown outcry was a result of Corrin's announcement.
